About this time last year my wife and I stayed with Hisao at the Morales Guesthouse. This accommodation is quaint and very nice with excellent breakfast time views of the Cordillera Blanca and Negra. First impressions last and when we arrived in Huaraz at 4.30am in the morning we were greeted by the lovely Yovanna who took us back to... More

We had a lovely stay at Morales Guesthouse this past month. The hotel is centrally located with a wonderful breakfast deck with a view, looking out over the rooftops to the Cordillera Blanca. Hisad and Yovana helped us with all our tour needs. Their suggestions made it a perfect four days! We especially liked our visits to Chavin de Huantar... More

Great view of the surrounding mountains and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for small groups or solo travelers. May soon be expanding to accommodate more people as well. They also offer free pickup from the bus.

Our stay at morales guesthouse was nothing but pleasant. The rooms are very well maintained and comfortable with hot showers, the breakfast is great and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Hisao helped organise all of our hikes with Peruvian Andes Adventures and provided very helpful information about the town. Particularly when my friend came down with some stomach... More

Morales Guesthouse is a tremendous value. Great rooms, lovely common areas, and a very delicious breakfast. I couldn't ask for a better place to rest my weary feet after a long day's hike. There's even some killer lomo saltado right down the street for five soles. ;)

Our stay at the Morales Guesthouse was a wonderful experience already before we actually arrived. Planning a vacation at home while still at work is sometimes a bothersome business, especially when it comes to choosing a hotel. Yet, Hisao Morales showed his care and utmost responsibility toward his guests already at that stage: patiently he always answered via e-mail all... More

Our 5 night stay at the Morales guesthouse was during the off season in Huaraz. The rooms were large and had comfortable beds. Hot water was always available. The service we received was excellent. The guesthouse is expanding to include rooms with a view of the mountains. Right now you can get a breathtaking view from the 5th floor terrace,... More

Morales guest house is a great find in Huaraz. Hisao was very welcoming and helped us arrange all of the day trips we took in the Cordillera. Jovanna was super sweet and took great care of the house and us. The house is immaculately clean and the room very comfortable. The house is about 10-15 minute walk to downtown Huaraz,... More
