This hotel was little a comfortable, the bed was great and the rooms were average. I would have appreciate more cleanliness when it comes down to the bathrooms, the towels were too poor and the bathroom was very small. However the service was great and the breakfast was perfect for our day out to Machu Picchu!

Dirty, smelly and extremely overpriced! Would never recommend this hotel to anyone! Water was dripping from the ceiling, the sheets, beds and pillows were damp and smelly. I have stayed in hundreds of hostels, hotels etc., but this is the worst one ever!!!

Stayed here 1/17/14-1/18/14. Check out is 9 am. The rooms are clean bathroom is small but sufficient. Hot water works. Mattress is comfortable. The window was left open so there were quite a few flies that needed to be killed but other than that it was fine. Great location 5 min walk to train station. Very close to everything. On... More

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The room is simple, but very cozy and clean. Our room had an awesome panoramic view of the river and lush tropical plants right outside the window. It felt like a little treehouse in the tropics. There's no street noise, just the soothing white noise from the gushing river outside... More

Let me preface my review by saying that Aguas Calientes is not your typical town. Built in a canyon it exists primarily because Machu Pichu is there. Most folks spend one night, maybe 2. There are no cars in town, you walk everywhere. Its small, compact, a bit grimy here and there, full of tourist restaurants and hotels. Anyway we... More

The location was great, however the bathroom was very disappointing. All we wanted to do was take a hot shower after a intense hike on Huyana Picchu. The bugs and lack of hot water was frustrating. The room itself was clean (as well as sheets). Breakfast is very simple but satisfying nonetheless. Unless, your on a very tight budget, I... More

By most accounts, accommodation in Aguas Calientes is pretty bad, so I'm giving this an average rating based on that. The bed was very comfortable, and the bed linens were clean and of good quality. The hotel is away from the train station so you don't get the problems of diesel and noise. The walk to the bus to MP... More

When I travel I have two basic requirements: a clean room and a hot shower! The first was provided (although the room's ceiling leaked water when it rained) but the second was a disaster. I got in the shower because there was a little hot water but before I had time to soap up it was freezing cold. Long story... More

Most people stay in Aguas Calientes only for the night or for a few hours to go to Machu Picchu....The beds are confi and the palce is clean but very basic. Breakfast starts 05h00 so if you want to grab something simple it is possible. Breakie is simple though. Keep in mind though that check out is 09h00 !!! So... More

We literally arrived, laid our heads to rest, and got up at the crack of dawn for Machu Picchu, but were happy to find breakfast served early enough so we could eat before our trek. Our guide met us here and it was a short walk to the bus that morning. The room overlooked the river and we left our... More
