After a laborious day at Macchu Picchu comming home to ElMapi's hot tub , free pisco sour and dinner was really relaxing. Catching up on my sleep in the comfortable bed and clean room re energized me to continue on the next leg of the trip. El Mapi is the best option in Macchu Picchu , if your travel agency... More

We stayed here in a triple share room in Dec. The location was good and service was consistent. A good place to stay in Aguas Calientes, you can walk to the main street to have lunch or dinner if the hotel restaurant fare is not to your taste.

My organization Conservation Volunteers International Program (Conservation VIP) stayed here in November while we performed trailwork, removed vegetation and planted trees in Machu Picchu, and around Aguas Calientes. The staff were very helpful and accommodating making our stay memorable! Especially helpful were Jose and Garyth. Excellent meals, including a wide variety of foods for breakfast (eggs come as ordered).

We chose El Mapi based on trip advisor reviews and because it was the right price given how incredibly expensive it is to stay in Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). The hotel is modern, well furnished and clean. Rooms are quiet, very spacious with a king sized bed and separate lounge area in the deluxe rooms. The bar serves a... More

We had a great stay at the El MaPi hotel. We stayed for one night for $200US and this included a Pisco Sour in the bar, a great dinner and delicious breakfast for the two of us. Staff were very friendly and the hotel is very eco friendly. They met us at the train station and stored our bags while... More

I booked a room here 3mos before I was to take the trip, which was sandwiched between other plans in Peru and Argentina, because I planned to be there during the Christmas Holiday which I understand is very busy in the small town of Agua Caliente. Unfortunately, two weeks before we are departing, the flights that I had booked to/from... More

We stayed for just one night here, having been reunited after the rest of the family trekked the Inca Trail and I came to Machu Picchu via the Sacred Valley. It is a very comfortable hotel, with all mod cons - big comfy beds, hot powerful showers, good wifi... It's in the middle of the town, near to everything, including... More

The food is awesome here. Clean, good service and of course wifi. Price is moderate, but again you don't want to eat just anywhere in Aguascalientes. We had a bad experience at a burger place. Let's just say they forgot to clean the grill off of critters! Forgot the name of the burger place...but beware! El mapi!!!! Two thumbs up!

It was our honeymoon and this was the nicest place we stayed. They had chocolates and wine waiting in our room when we arrived. The included dinner was also very nice. Hot tub wasn't really hot but it would have been fine if it was warmer outside when we went. My only wish is that the room had a bathtub... More

Our love of this hotel probably had something to do with the view from our room. I think we probably had the best view in the hotel. But the hotel was clean, modern, and had the best pisco sours in the area....after having some at other places we came back to the hotel.
