We spend there only one night. Our room was clean, but noisy (river and disco outside). We were in Peru during winter so we appreciate warm bed. Guesthouse's staff knows only Spanish so it's quite difficult to communicate with them. We enjoy simple breakfast from 5 a.m. It's possible to leave your things in hotel during trip to Machu Picchu.

So Aguas Calientes is a town growing so fast they don't know what to do with it. Denny's House is no exception. Perhaps it used to be quiet, but now there's a discotec next door and a football field behind it. Worse, are the kids of the owners running through the (very echoey) halls at all hours. We resolved the... More

We had really unpleasant experience at this "hostel". Already the first glance was not very good - there were 2 sofas at the reception, but all day both of them were full with sleeping strangers (they didn't look like guests...more like homeless locals). Room didn't look like on the pictures at all - it was dirty, smelly, there was mold... More

Not sure what happened to other folks, but we must have lucked out. First, we liked the location on the opposite side of the river up towards the baths. Second, we had paid for a dorm and they gave us a private room. Our room was quiet and clean. Wifi is iffy except right in the lobby. Meager breakfast of... More

By far the worst place I stayed at during my 5month Peru trip. Why? Room stunk like poop...my friends refused to visit me there, loud loud loud, family lives up on top floor and little lids run up and down screaming till midnight, shower cold every day, gave me a wet towel to use, bed had stains on sheets not... I stayed at this hotel with my wife with a view to getting early bus at dawn. Room condition is just okay, no window. Wifi connection is not stable at room. It is the common problem in Cuzco and Puno hotel. I considered such price is reasonable at this town.

It's also really dirty (my friend had a hair in her bed)... there is no window in the room... and from the toilet there is only a little window (wich is broken and not possible to close) going... Currently named Denny's House, this is by far a great budget option in Aguas Calientes. Mind you, my views may be a bit skewed as I arrived at this hostels after 4 intense days on the Inka Trail, after sleeping in tents, using only filthy latrines and washing my hands in icy cold water - so anything to me seemed... Well what can I say other than don't bother. Rude Dirty Disco next door. Only want money from you And stinks It's a shame as it has so much potential..... Don't be fooled tho. When we arrived we was greeted buy a 2 yr old boy, for about 20 mins then mum popped out, she said we have to wait... More

Not so good not so bad for the price. the location was good and the peopple that work there was nice, but it wasn't so clean and some tnhigs were broken. It save me beacuse I didn't have a place for sleep and I find it. They have to improve a lot of things but it's a nice place.
