We chose this hotel based on positive reviews and also nice photos of the hotel. It was moderately priced without having to go beyond our budget. We quickly received a confirmation from the hotel saying they would greet us at the train station upon our arrival. I confirmed our schedule. Of course nobody was there to greet us and so... More

Hotel La Cabana is definitely the place to stay in Aguas Calientes. Stay as long as you can there, they have a wonderful breakfast with all the fresh juices, hot food (early) and all the fruit, teas, nuts and grains you can eat for your upcoming day of hiking. I saw many hostels and hotels in AQ and La Cabana... More

We stayed for all of about 9 hours, or less, but what we experienced was great service, nice clean room, and the Jacuzzi Room. Thank god for this feature to sooth our bodies after a few long days of trekking. The bed was great, big and comfortable, though on the top floor, but that was OK. We laughed because it... More

The staff is outstanding extremely friendly and helpful. They also spoke well English. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would stay here again. The only minus is no hot water on the sink but plenty on the showers.

This is a beautiful hotel. it is very nicely appointed. Definitely one of the most comfortable and pleasant hotel we usually frequent. The staff is outstanding. Extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was excellent. The best we had in Aguas calientes. The room was very comfortable. The bed perfect. All very clean throughout the hotel.I'd have no hesitation in... More

Just one night was enough. Room was small and smelly with mosquitos everywhere. Good location for bus to Machu Picchu and train station. Breakfast served very early for people to catch early bus. Staff very good but room let them down. Maybe just got unlucky and other rooms better. Wifi did not let you out past their server and shower... More

The hotel was okay. The big minuses were: no hot water to the bathroom sink. There was only a single, cold water, tap. (see photo) I don't like shaving in cold water. I've never even seen a hotel room before with no hot water tap on the sink. Secondly, the room lighting was so scant that one cannot distinguish colors.... More

We were here the day before going to Machu Picchu so we could catch the early bus up, and then we came back to relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and ours had a balcony over the street that was fine for relaxing and reading. There is a very good breakfast, served early so you can get off to... More

We booked the king bed/jacuzzi tub room after doing the 4-day Inca trail. It was a big, clean, comfortable room with plenty of hot water in the bathroom. We loved soaking in the jacuzzi tub and the chocolates on our bed. The staff was helpful and their English was very good. There was a standard Peruvian buffet breakfast in the... More
