I used this place for a school expedition group, Have been taking expeditions out for over 10 years and frankly found this place to be one of the worst yet. Showers produced little more than a cold dribble, they were unable to arrange for our groups clothes washing, had to argue for towels and loo rolls, inadequate breakfast even by... More

Calling it a B&B may be a little much, but it’s a step up by hostel standards. 6 floors. Private room and bathroom with a small but adequate bed and pillows. Towels and hair dryer available on request. Tile floor. Relatively clean. Smashed bugs on the walls and ceiling. No heat but I was there at the end of June... More

It was one of the cheapest, and since the whole M.P trip is expensive bussiness we tried to cut down on accomondation. And as it often is, you get what you pay for: a small room that felt dirty, with a window towards the corridor, plenty of noise, crap breakfast. But it if you just need to sleep, its ok.

I understand that pretty much anywhere you stay in AG is going to be average to poor and this place is no exception. The room was basic but noisy from the stairwell and the breakfast was terrible. At least the bathroom was decent.

This hotel was okay. Not great, but there are so many bad, overpriced hotels in Aguas Calientes, I felt like I dodged a bullet by staying here for my two nights in town. My room and bathroom were clean, with warm water and a TV. The pillows were old and lumpy, and the lines smelled a bit musty. Also, most... More

After doing the Inca trail the prospect of a real bed and a warm shower was very welcome. Pirwa certainly provided both, though our room (consisting of three single beds) was rather sparse. Opening directly onto the breakfast floor with large, poorly sealed windows, the room was very noisy at ~0430 as people get ready to go to Macchu Picchu.... More

We stayed here two nights, pre and post looking around Machu Picchu. Despite Aguas Calientes getting slated by various travel guides, we actually found the place to have a certain charm – a small town with a rail line running through the middle, nestled deep in a valley with green mountains towering over on all sides. In addition, we ate... More

I had advising and reliable email contact before I came. I arrvied too late in the middle of the night cause of a train delay, but still I got picked up to be accompanied to the hostel. The breakfast buffet was good and enough and ready there very early in the morning as promised. I needed to pay only at... More

First impression wasn't great: the lady who met us at the train station didn't say a word, until she dropped us at the Pirwa HOSTEL. It took us some time to convince them that we really had a reservation at the B&B, but in the end, she guided us there. The Bed & Breakfast is a good place to stay... More
