About 15 min walk uphill from bus stop at bottom of Machu Picchu mountain. Very tiring to climb up there, lugging heavy bags and after days of climbing the mountains. Clean rooms with towels & soap/shampoo provided. Decently priced for being in tourist town. Breakfast has bread, juice, bananas, teas. Located in between lots of restaurants, stores, laundry, massage places.... More

We arrived in Aguas Calientes to go to Machu Picchu the next day. We were exhausted when arriving to the train station. The staff told us they would pick us up, but they did not. As such, we were very confused about the set up of Aguas Calientes and why it led into an open market. We used Google maps... More

The hostel is quite simple and small but for a one night stay it was good to have a private room with a comfortable bed. The problem was when we arrive: my boyfriend and I got there with a friend we met in cusco and we had a double room and a single room but the guy wanted to put... More

I stayed for the night on 5th of January then I checked out at the day after, my baggage was in the hostel. Before I get the train, like 4PM, I got back to the hostel to get my things back, and asked if anyone forgot something, the attendant asked our rooms and told that nothing was forgotten, then we... One of the many hostels in Machu Picchu Pueblo. Nice and clean room, private bathroom. Had a great night's sleep there before the early morning bus to Machu Picchu. It's on a hill, like everything else, keep an eye out on the cobblestone streets cause they can be slippery sometimes!

I stayed one night in a double bedroom with private bathroom Pros - Good location - They can pick you up at the train station (even if it is only 5 minutes walking) - Not too expensive Cons - Breakfast is "only" from 5:00am so it is too late if you want to get the first bus. But you can... More

The hostel is a five minute walk up the hill from the train station, the beds and bathroom were clean and Freddy was super! We went with four of our children and had adjoining rooms. It can be noisy so bring air plugs, I was exhausted so fell asleep early and did not hear much after that. It is a... More

This hostel is really nothing worth remembering. The room was basic and slightly old (though the towel crocodile was a nice touch), the bathroom was small and the shower unsteady, but they had bread with jam and bananas for the backpackers getting up early to see Machu Picchu. They also had a room for luggage, a must when the plan... More

Just overnighted here. Uphill on the main road of town. Room was simple and very basic. Left earlier, but owner provided a drink and bananas. He gave good directions. Did not face any problems. Low price compared with many other establishments.
