One of the many hostels in Machu Picchu Pueblo. Nice and clean room, private bathroom. Had a great night's sleep there before the early morning bus to Machu Picchu. It's on a hill, like everything else, keep an eye out on the cobblestone streets cause they can be slippery sometimes!

I stayed one night in a double bedroom with private bathroom Pros - Good location - They can pick you up at the train station (even if it is only 5 minutes walking) - Not too expensive Cons - Breakfast is "only" from 5:00am so it is too late if you want to get the first bus. But you can... More

The hostel is a five minute walk up the hill from the train station, the beds and bathroom were clean and Freddy was super! We went with four of our children and had adjoining rooms. It can be noisy so bring air plugs, I was exhausted so fell asleep early and did not hear much after that. It is a... More

This hostel is really nothing worth remembering. The room was basic and slightly old (though the towel crocodile was a nice touch), the bathroom was small and the shower unsteady, but they had bread with jam and bananas for the backpackers getting up early to see Machu Picchu. They also had a room for luggage, a must when the plan... More

Just overnighted here. Uphill on the main road of town. Room was simple and very basic. Left earlier, but owner provided a drink and bananas. He gave good directions. Did not face any problems. Low price compared with many other establishments.

The pros are that you have tv in the room and the shower is not cold and they do offer breakfast early enough to get the 6am bus to Machu Picchu. So, for that, I wouldn't rate them as terrible. But, I had torn my daypack and I asked the gentleman running the hostel who was sewing and he said... More

Let me start by saying I am a 33 year old male that has been to all 7 continents and numerous countries with a lot of hostal experience. With that said, I don't need to much. Here's the negative to get it out of the way: rather noisy at night and early morning because most of these place don't have... More

I spent one night here prior to a day trip at Machu Picchu. Overall, it was rather disappointing, in a town full of mediocre tourist traps. Finding the place is a bit confusing, as they run a restaurant which is easy to spot, but there's no signage indicating that the hostal is behind/upstairs the restaurant. The room that I was... More

Excellent location. The staff is always ready to help you. Good value for your money. We have no complains. I would not hesitate to go back or recomend it to my family and friends. The roms are in the back, so you do not hear all the night noise.
