Been there for only one night but the place is great! There's a nice little bar upstairs, the rooms and all facilities were clean and most of all the staff was very kind and helpful! Plus it's very affordable and there is early breakfast for those hiking to the Macchu Pichu.

The staff are really friendly and even waited for us by the train station. The decoration are really nice with different colors and paintings. The room was OK but a bit noisy, it was possible hear the street noise and the bar upstairs. They should but more outlets on the rooms, because it only had 4 outlets for a 6... More

Definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed in in South America, despite it not having a kitchen! I especially liked the spacious rooms, and the lockers for each person. The bathrooms were tidy and had hot showers - which was great after a long day at MP. It's got a really good social area... possibly the best thing is... More

Supertramp hostel We recently stayed 2 days after MP, it was in the busy season so very load music bands playing in streets, but as we travelled everywhere, having ear plugs in all accommodation is necessary when you dont want to be woken up by load noises and music. We had a comfortable stay in Supertramp, good atmosphere, beds and... More

My girlfriend and I rented the private room and it was great. While it doesn't have private bathrooms, it did have a public one right across our room and a more private one on the first floor. Great prices, and awesome service. Plus, you get a discount on the best restaurant in Aguas Calientes, Palate, which is right downstairs.

Aguas Calientes is a very pretty little town but fairly soulless - it serves as the base for Machu Picchu and not much more. We caught the train to AC in the morning from cusco, and stayed the night at super tramp. The hostel was easy to find (it is a small town!), and they let us check in early,... More

We stayed in the hostel for only one night but it was great. The beds are comfortabel, theres hot showers and the owner even said that we can come back and take a shower before leaving Aguas Calientes. Breakfast is also very good. Great place before going to MP

It was hard to make a booking for the group because they took long or stopped answering messages on Facebook or through email. When we arrived with our group of 20 they were not very welcoming. Even though we sent all details digital and had copies of the passports, everybody had to write down the same thing in their book.... More

i was originally only going to spend one night in Aguas Calientes but decided to extended my stay at Supertramp after the staff told me about all the other things you could do around town apart from just the Machu Pichu ruins, from putukusi mountain which is free to enter, to Mandor waterfalls. Would recommend anyone traveling here to stay... More

It is a good hostel and a great place to stay. However the rooms are very large (8 to 12) and there aren't many sanitary facilities. It is also the case that the sanitary facilities are centered in one point. The first night we went to the restaurant that is located in the hostel and it didn't run very smooth.... More
