We stayed two nights in Adelas Hostel and it was a perfect choice for a trip to Machu Pichu. The hostel was exceptionally clean with piping hot showers, huge fluffy towels and really comfortable beds with heaps of blankets. Wifi was excellent, there was also cable TV in the rooms. Another positive was that we asked for breakfast at 5.30am... More

We had an excellent stay at Adelas in November the night before our day at Machu Picchu. Hotels are expensive in Aguas Calientes, so we were pleased to find a room for under $60/night. It was not the Ritz, but the room was clean, beds decently comfortable, and the shower hot. Breakfast was very nice with eggs, rolls, and fruit.... More

PRO: Steps from the train station, a member of staff came to the train station to guide us to the hotel, the meals offered are decent and affordable compared to the restaurants along the same street. CONS: Located right in front of the railway line where trains pass very noisily at all hours, small room with a double bed and... More

The Hostel is next to the bus and train stop. We asked for a early breakfast (4:30 am) and got a bag full of bread, cereal bars and juice the evening before to serve ourselves. Warm water didn't work, but was fixed immediately! Staff was friendly and helpfull. They kept our luggage while we climbed the Machu Picchu. Free coca... More

Our room was spotless with a great view. The breakfast was good and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. It is a 2 minute walk from the train station and the main vendor market. Great budget hostel if you are spending a night or two!

An economy - budget priced Hostel ($75 for 3 people in a room with 3 beds) Definitely a great experience! While the hotel / hostel is basic and simple it is also eloquent and very inviting with a décor of vivid bright desert colors! Our room with three beds was clean, spacious and contained plenty of warm blankets adjoining a... More

Aguas Calientes is a town based 100% on tourism so the prices are highly inflated. Our room here was $55 USD a night which was a great find for the town. This place was great. The beds were super comfy and we had a room facing the river which was very soothing to fall asleep to. The hospitality was also... More

Not expecting a lot from hotels in Aguascalientes we were pretty satisfied with our stay and the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the triple room surprisingly big and comfortable although not beautiful, but beds were better than in a lot of more expensive hotels on that trip. Very clean, breakfast and installations ok. Plus we had a room... More

Basic but comfortable. Ask for a river view room and drift off to the sound of the river. It also blocks out the sound of the town. Building quality is not great round here so most hotels suffer a bit with noise and the train line runs right through the town so there's no escaping when that arrives. The staff... More
