Perfect location overlooking the river (I asked for a room at the back after reading reviews, it was so beautiful) very close walking distance to everything. Clean and tidy. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

My husband and I stayed in Aguas Calientes for one night after our 4 day trek and it was a great decision. The hotel was very clean, the water was nice and warm and the staff were very friendly. Ask for a room over the river, the white noise of the water put me right to sleep. Highly recommend anyone... More

Adela’s Hostal is a basic, yet perfectly adequate place to spend your one night before going to Machu Picchu. They greeted us upon arrival of our train and walked us 2 minutes from the station to their hotel. The room was clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. We originally wanted to leave for Machu Picchu at 5:30am, before their... More

We stayed two nights in Adelas Hostel and it was a perfect choice for a trip to Machu Pichu. The hostel was exceptionally clean with piping hot showers, huge fluffy towels and really comfortable beds with heaps of blankets. Wifi was excellent, there was also cable TV in the rooms. Another positive was that we asked for breakfast at 5.30am... More

We had an excellent stay at Adelas in November the night before our day at Machu Picchu. Hotels are expensive in Aguas Calientes, so we were pleased to find a room for under $60/night. It was not the Ritz, but the room was clean, beds decently comfortable, and the shower hot. Breakfast was very nice with eggs, rolls, and fruit.... More

PRO: Steps from the train station, a member of staff came to the train station to guide us to the hotel, the meals offered are decent and affordable compared to the restaurants along the same street. CONS: Located right in front of the railway line where trains pass very noisily at all hours, small room with a double bed and... More

The Hostel is next to the bus and train stop. We asked for a early breakfast (4:30 am) and got a bag full of bread, cereal bars and juice the evening before to serve ourselves. Warm water didn't work, but was fixed immediately! Staff was friendly and helpfull. They kept our luggage while we climbed the Machu Picchu. Free coca... More

Our room was spotless with a great view. The breakfast was good and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. It is a 2 minute walk from the train station and the main vendor market. Great budget hostel if you are spending a night or two!

An economy - budget priced Hostel ($75 for 3 people in a room with 3 beds) Definitely a great experience! While the hotel / hostel is basic and simple it is also eloquent and very inviting with a décor of vivid bright desert colors! Our room with three beds was clean, spacious and contained plenty of warm blankets adjoining a... More
