Basic stay, conveniently located by the station. If you get bothered by noise may rethink as trains arrive and depart till late in evening and they all blow the whistle once to make their presence felt.

This hotel does not pretend to be 5* and fancy - I felt it delivered what it promised - it's basic but clean. The bed in our room was surprisingly large and comfortable. It overlooks the trains but this didn't bother us, in fact it was quite fun to watch them and during the night there was no noise that... More

Most people who go to Aguas Calientes only stay one night. Unfortunately, due the lack of availability of Machu Picchu tickets compared to train tickets, we had to stay three nights. And oh what a three night stay it was. This town is the biggest HOLE of a place that I have ever stayed. The hotel thankfully has a great... More

Basic, clean and decent-sized room. Lady at reception was very accommodating, getting a room ready for us early as I wasn't feeling well and needed to rest. Towels and hair dryer provided but bring your own toiletries. I figured out that the "H" shower knob was actually cold water and the "C" was hot water - not sure if this... More

Lovely people, great location and nice, comfortable beds. That said...the TRAIN is directly outside your scenic view and if you are a light sleeper- the train IS directly outside your scenic view. Breakfast is good and staff is most helpful. However, the shower never had warm water...and we tried different times over a couple of days. The staff is lovely.......

The hotel was a good location. The bad thing was the hotel was facing the train depot...so I heard all of the train coming and going. Definitely not worth the money. Very, very average. It was not worth the money.. Bathroom shower was scarrey

The people were very friendly and hospitable, specially Cesar and Luisa....Very clean and they were there for you at any time. Nice breakfast, good free wifi, nice comfortable beds. the only thing is that the shower door should open out side ways. Thanks guys

I'm confused by the poor reviews of this hotel. The majority of the people I met coming to Aguas Calientes were there to climb and to have an adventure, meaning I'm not sure why anyone could be upset with this hotel. This hostel has consistent hot water, free wifi, and relatively comfortable beds. It will keep your packs locked up... More

This was one of the reasonable choices in Aguas Calientes, and we understood why once we got there. Even though we emailed about our arrival time and arranged a pick up at the train station, nobody showed up. The room was clean, but internet and shower had some issues. Breakfast was available early enough for those who wanted to go... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were picked up at the train station by Judy and we walked to the hotel which was only a few minutes away. The hotel is small and there is only wi-fi in the lobby area. However, since we were only there for one night, it didn't matter to us.We felt the... More
