OK Hotel but overpriced. We booked an expensive suite room and it seemed damp. It looks like they try to alleviate the problem by running humidifiers in the halls. Food is OK. The bar man who also hosts the breakfast buffet is fantastic, other than that it was all mediocre. One thing- the power goes out quite frequently in Aguas... More

Nice breakfast, that is already open before sunrise (for those who want enjoy the sunrise on the top of the mountain). Nice view. Large rooms. There are elevators, yes. Staff is very helpful. You can enjoy the Sacred City until the last minute, because staff from the hotel will be waiting in the train station with your lugagge (you don´t... More

We decided to stay in Aguas Calientes after our 4 days trek on the Inca Trail. The hotel is located on the top of the main shopping and restaurant street just next to the entrance of the hot springs. The best with the location is that you don't hear the noice from the train or the traffic. The rooms were... More

From the pictures I'd seen I was not looking forward to staying here as part of our tour. However it was colourfully decorated with a flowery courtyard and located in a quiet alley a few blocks from the main square. The room had a comfy double bed and spa bath, and rooms 301 and 302 had good views from the... More

I stayed there for one night, the first bad impression was when staff never showed up to the train station to help with our luggage, even though they offered in the first place and they confirm they will be there to take us to the Hotel. You have to walk from the station since there are not taxis or mototaxis... More

Excellent service by the employees. Nice breakfast buffet to start the day off. Room was substandard. Hole in bathtub-leaked water into bathroom and bedroom. Electrical outlets hanging out of wall - some didn't work some didn't. Had to use a computer strip on the one working outlet for the portable room heater and dehumidifier. Young girl at desk came up... More

After 4 days trekking and coming down with some awful stomach yuck thing and all you want to do is sleep for 20 hours straight, this place delivered. We came down early from Machu Picchu because I was so ill, our room wasn't ready, but they had a comfy couch that I camped on until our room was ready. It... More

Location - If you have limited time in Aguas Calientes, better to take another hotel / b&b near the bus station. When we arrived late in Aguas Calientes and didn't have the time to buy the bus ticket the next day. Early in the morning, we woke up to get to the first few lines in the bus kiosk to... More

This is an OK hotel in American terms and probably a decent hotel in South American terms. The rooms are spacious enough and generally clean, although ours reeked of urine upon arrival (the smell dissipated after airing out the bathroom). Breakfast is ok. They are adding two floors to the top of the hotel so good luck getting any sleep... More

Given the selections of hotels in Agua Calientes...this is a very good option. The room was clean but initially smelled of urine. My son quickly turned on the fan & opened the window...smell resolved but not a great start! It is at the very highest spot in AC and requires a hike to the hotel, if this is an issue,... More
