Unusual town at bus drop off from Machu Picchu Busy little town but there is no main road, just a railway line and this place is sandwiched between the line and a magnificent river Be sure to get a rear view as the river and mountains are amazing The rooms are very well appointed with large modern jacuzzi baths and... We loved this hotel and we loved this town. We were first met by a representative of the hotel at the train station in Aguas Calientes. He had a sign with our name on it. He carried our bags and walked us a short walk to the hotel, less than five minutes away. The staff were warm and inviting. We... More

We stayed in a superior room and I must say the room was amazing. Facing the river, two double beds, a big bathroom with jacuzzi (unfortunately we had no time to use it). Staff friendly as it seems a constant thing in Peru anyway. I could say nice things about everything apart the breakfast that I found very poor: no... More

Loved this little hotel. Very clean, plenty of hot water and very friendly and more than helpful staff. Ask for a room with a view of the river. Just behind the hotel the river trundles along at the base of a mountain all of which you can see from your windows. Hard to beat as a location. Close walk from... More

We enjoyed our stay at Hatun Inti. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We loved having a room on the river. We didn't have any noise complaints at all! We just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the Jacuzzi. It is a perfect place to stay after hiking the Inca Trail.

Excellent location! The hotel is walking distance from train station and bus station. Room on the river was awesome. The breakfast was good. Be sure to ask for fresh omelettes or fried eggs. Very friendly staff

During a recent trip to Machu Picchu we stayed 3 nights at the Hatun Inti Hotel. We booked an upgraded room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the Urubamba River. While some reviewers have complained about the noise of the water we did not find it too loud and quite relaxing, and at night you will close your... More

When entering from the street, you have no idea of the pleasures that await you! The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, including allowing us to store our heavier items from our backpacks with them all day while we were at Machu Picchu. Our rooms were quite large and impressive with a very large and very modern... More

The hotel has two main strengths: (i) it is located by the river and hence the room has excellent, excellent view and (ii) it is located 2 minutes from the bus station (to catch the bus to machu picchu) as well as the main plaza where they have good restaurants all around. It is also located near the art/souvennir market... More
