stayed here at la pequena casita as part of our hike and tour group. They called it a three star hotel. That is definitely a stretch. The rooms are nothing special, had a mildew smell to the linens. The shower did not drain and "hot" water was more like luke warm. When we tried to walk out of the hotel... More

La pequena casita is a very simple hotel but you will find a very nice owner, dedicated and sweet. Rooms and bed are excelent, clean and confortable. You feel a little bit in a family place. Very good quality compare to price.

The hotel is well-situated. The staff was friendly and didn't try to impose extra services. But the hotel itself was extremely bad. Hot water in sink is absent by construction, in shower it was only in the evening but in the morning we were able to receive only cold water. No hair-dryer. Towels were smelly and there was no towel... More

We recently spent 2 nights here. It was a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable . Hot water in ample supply, wifi works well, good breakfast. Great location , just across the bridge from train station, short walk to the bus station , Main Street and all good restaurants. We had good... More

good service; the beds are clean and comfortable; the bathroom perfect with hot shower all the time; the hotel is nearby the train station, the market, restaurants and the busstop for Machu Picchu. We can advise this hotel !

This place is very close to a hostel. Service is quite poor, although a heater was already in the room when we checked in. I asked the housekeeping for a pillowcase for the pillow and was told no, you don't need one. Hot water for the shower was not available (nippy). Don't drink the water. Bottled water only - even... I stayed in the hotel for one night while visiting Machu Picchu and the service was very good, rooms are large, it is next to the river so you sleep with the sound of water next to you. A big bonus is its closeness to the train station and bus terminal. Definitely to recommend.

We enjoyed two nights at La Casita Pequena. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was good. The hotel is close to the bus and train stop and shopping. It’s also across the street from the river - what a wonderful sound to put you to sleep! Also, even though the hotel was officially closed... More

Great location for bus to Machu Picchu--right out the door. Everything us close, restaurants, market, shopping train. Good breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms. Pleased with overall value, would stay there again. Only negative would be the noise of people lining up for bus--but like everyone else we wanted to be to Machu Picchu early so it didn't bother us. We... More

It is a very nice place, super clean. The bathroom is good, and we didn't have a problem with the hot water (and we were three person in a room), something that people say it is often a problem in the city (yes, the city calls Aguas Calientes, but apparently thats only in the termal fountains and not in hotels)....
