The hotel is located just across the river, 3 minutes walking from the train station and 100 meters from the bus stop that takes you to the Machu Picchu. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable with heating and hot water. The hostess is very efficient, she gave us as soon as we arrived all the information we needed:... More

The location can't be beat here. Literally you are steps away from the train station and very close to the bus station for Machu Picchu. The room was big and comfortable with hot water. Wifi was horrible, but who cares, you are in Peru!

We only stayed one night. The location is excellent, at the bus stop to go to Machu Pichu the only draw back is the noise early in the morning of the people lining up to go to the site. The staff is excellent, they gave us tips to avoid service charges charged by some restaurants. In addition they were able... More

We booked the hotel by email but it took a few days to get reply. Nothing special about this hotel except the convenient location. It is just a minute walk from the bus station to Machu Pichu and very close to the town centre. Super convenient! There is a boy who speaks Spanish only were very helpful on luggages. The... More

This small hotel in Aguas Calientes is very close to the train station and also to the eco buses going up to the citadel Machu Picchu...very handy..just out the door and you're in the bus !!! It's also close to the market and restaurants. Our room faced the river and there was so much water that it was very noisy... More

We stayed overnight at La Pequena Casita Hotel before making the trip to Machu Picchu early next morning. The Hotel was close to the train station, has a clean and spacious room and offers free breakfast. Breakfast is OK and room is cost effective. A few things bothered me. (1) I wanted to ask for some information before the Peru... More

The location is excellent! This hotel is very close to the train station and the buses to Machu Picchu. The room was nice despite a retro colour scheme. The service was terrible. The lady who checked us in was rude; we were not made to feel at all welcome. It seemed that our presence was a significant inconvenience. We didn't... More

We stayed here for one night as part of our package with Pachamama Explorers. The decor is confronting to stay the least, but great if you like lots of strong orange and lemon colours. Our room 203 faced the river and was just two minutes walk from the bus stop and five to the train station, which cannot be beaten.... More

This hotel (also called a Hostal) was about what we expected. Very close to the train station, and they will send a person to meet your train and lead you to the hotel if you let them know when you are arriving. A basic, bare bones place, it provided a comfortable place to sleep the day before we visited Machu... More

My wife and I stayed here in December 2013 while we were visiting Machu Picchu. As others have mentioned the location is excellent - the bus for Machu Picchu leaves one block away and the train station is just across the street (across a bridge). The staff were very helpful. Our room was on the second floor in front so... More
