We and another couple traveled from Cusco to Aquas Calientes by train, as so many travelers to this region do. We're glad we booked ahead, because even though March is low season for Machu Piccu, it's still bustling in this lovely little town. Terrazas del Inca could not have been more perfect for us. Well situated (a block from the... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after our visit to Machu Picchu. I am glad we did! We were met by friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is a quaint inn, and we had a delicious breakfast. The staff had recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner.... More

The people were extremely friendly and provided us with sandwiches for our visit to Machu Picchu. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The only negative thing about our visit in this B&B was when we arrived, one of the employees offered us free water but the next day the owner of the B&B asked us to... More

I stayed here for 2 nights before and after my huyana picchu and machu picchu trek, and looking back it was a wise decision. Aquas callientes is a small pedestrian town. The hotel manager met me at the train station and walked with me to the hotel. A 5 minute walk. The hotel is nothing fancy but is clean, has... More

I couldn't have made a better choice. The place was affordable compared to the other options in Machu Picchu Pueblo, the place itself was very charming and clean, and best of all the staff is amazing!!! They made our trip. The location was perfect too, it is very close to the bus station where they take u up to Machu... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here before going to Machu Picchu.... Well, first off Yosi met us at the train station, with a great sign, and big friendly smile! Also helped us to the hotel... Where we were greeted with warm smiles & friendly reception from Nelida! Room 206 has the most comfortable bed & amazing view and relaxing sound... More

We only stayed one night but the service was excellent and put us in a very positive frame of mind for the mishaps that were about to unfold the following day. All the staff were willing to do that bit extra to help e.g. My son sprained his ankle while at Machu Picchu & the staff were all very helpful.

Happy , and greetings from Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is amazing and you should be careful in walking by the archaeological site, there are many stairs, ascents and descents and spectacular views, there is always to walk carefully, but if there is a problem, have no doubt that the Inca Terraces is here to help. Congratulations on your trip and... More

I am a very demanding hotel-stayer. I loved this one. It is cheap, clean, they have normal HOT water (which is a big problem in Aguas Calientes) and the staff is exceptionally nice. It is by the river, so some may be distracted by the running water, but I loved it. Never had such a nice sleep. It is a... More

Thank you for your comment, all those of us who work in the Inca Terraces we are satisfied with your comment. We didn't know that you are a passenger demanding, only we did our work with care and we had a lot of fun with our work. The town of Aguas Calientes is small and there are no cars or... More

This was my second time staying with Terrazas, first with friends and second with family. It works for both! The staff instantly remembers your name and addresses you as such throughout the entire stay. There is no request too outlandish for them, and they will pick you up from the train station and help you with your luggage. I even... More

Good day, thank you for your comment, and if we remember what happened, but only did our work. It was a race we had to be in your hotel in Cusco before your departure to the airport and we did, of truth that we are happy with your visit and the third time that we visit will be best ,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Inca Civilization developed the most important culture in South America. Terrazas Del Inca B&B Hostel is located in this area . We are centrally located in the town of Machu Picchu also known as Aguas Calientes. Machu Pichu, the archeological Inca site, is a 25 minute bus drive from Aguas Calientes. The views from the terraces are fantastic and from their rooms can enjoy serene, melodic sound of the river Aquas Calientes.Terrazas del Inca Bed and Breakfast is located 2 blocks from the bus station that takes you to the ruins of Machu Picchu. The bus ride is 25 minutes zig-zag journey to the mountaintop. You will want to have as much time as possible to enjoy the ruins. We recommend that you take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. It is a 2 hour train ride. You´ll spend a comfortable night at our Hostel, wake up early, eat a wonderful complete breakfast, and head up to the ruins by bus while it´s still early. You can catch the sunrise over this beautiful lost city of the Incas (depending on the season) and enjoy the day at this magnificent place. We are happy to assist you with any questions you may have at our front desk. Call for reservations in advance. Our guests are important and we treat you with utmost care. ... more   less
