We were greeted at the train station by Jorge. His attitude was refreshing. Bright, friendly, charming. He escorted us back to the hotel and took the time to explain every in detail. The room was comfortable and warm. Would recommend to everyone.

We were greeted by Jorge at the train station with a huge happy smile on his face. Once at the hotel he explained everything we needed to know (in perfect English which was helpful for my mother). The rooms had everything we needed. WIFI worked in the room. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Jorge... More

Spent the night there Sat.Aug.22nd.Nice property.A tad bit jaded in the lobby area but don't that put you off.We had room #206 overlooking the river and close to the lobby. We were a little concerned that we might have difficulty sleeping but our fears were unfounded. The room was clean and nicely decorated.Everything worked properly.Lots of hot water. The real beauty of... More

I chose this inn because of the favorable reviews but I found it to be over rated. My room was adequate but noisy. It faced the street and the wall was not entirely closed up. Breakfast was very average and seemed to be pre-made. It was a good walk from the train and bus stations, going mainly uphill which was... More

Just one night at Terrazas, but a perfect place for our family. Accommodations were clean, staff friendly. The next morning as we headed out at 5am for the bus line to Machu Picchu, we were even more pleased...only a short walk downhill and we reached the end of the line. We purchased bag lunches from the hotel that were good... More

Terraza del Incas is a great hostel in the quaint town of Aguas Calientes. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the location excellent. The hostel is very safe and secure, and the staff was very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again on a return visit to Machu Picchu.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great and quiet - important in a town with a train!! The breakfast was cute and we ordered sandwiches to take with us to Machu Picchu. Highly recommended - we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights and were pleased by the flexibility of the owner to make our stay enjoyable. The water pressure on the 3rd floor is low. Ear plugs are handy for sleeping in case you don't like the sound of running water or the sound from queue for the Machu Picchu buses early in the morning.

Affordable stay in Aguas Calienties before visiting Machu Picchu. About 5 min walk from the train station. The stream in front of the lodge can be peaceful. Very close to all of the restaurants and bars. Need to improve the electrical outlets and for the space heaters to stay on longer. Wifi in the rooms are not the best but... More

I had modest expectations of this B+B since it was very reasonably priced and some reviews had complained about their stay. However, I chose it mainly because they had a "family room" which I found difficult to find in Peru...My husband and two kids could stay together in a room with a queen and two twins and a private bath....
