Very friendly, helpful staff, someone met us at the train station and escorted us to the venue, which is located right across the sidewalk from a great bubbling brook, very tranquil setting. The rooms were nice size with private bath and hot showers. Cooked to order breakfast, [with almost American coffee :-) ]. The price is right too @$55/night.

We were meet by Nellie at the train station and walked to the B&B. All the staff were very friendly and breakfast was adequate. The WiFi was good and the showers were hot. We had checked out the morning of our visit to Machu Picchu but were able to leave a bag and return after Machu Picchu to shower for... More

We stayed here for two nights in order to visit Machu Picchu for two days. We arrived late the first night and were met at the station. He also took us to buy bus tickets for the next day that night, which was great. Wish I could remember his name though! At the front desk I got a lot of... More

We had a terrible experience with Carlos in the reservations department regarding the purchase of our tickets for Machu Picchu. He was always very slow in responding to our emails. In addition, we wanted to hike up Machu Picchu Mountain but they purchased tickets for Wayna Picchu Mountain. Even though he had said that the issue had been corrected, they... More

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only two problems was: Wi-fi connection was deficient and bathroom was very small. However, hotel was well located half way in between hot springs and downtown.

As others have said, the service was fabulous. Nellie met us, who was a complete delight. The bed room as huge, with a clean bathroom with a fantastic shower (hot hot HOT). It was overlooking the river, with huge windows. Breakfast was served at 5 am, as we needed for machu picchu, with a smile on their faces, and hot... More

The staff are very friendly and helpful with cable tv, strong internet and clean rooms. The shower was hot and he pressure was strong. After travelling through South America for a month, you'd be surprised how much of a treat this was!

We were met by Nelly (sorry if that's the wrong spelling!) at the railway station and it was all good from that moment forward. Very friendly, smiling staff who couldn't do enough for us. Our room (301 I believe) was huge, clean, comfortable and overlooked the river. They put on breakfast nice and early for us and when we returned... More

They exceeded our expectations!! Extremely friendly and helpful staff, confortable and clean rooms with hot showers, close to train, bus stations and major restaurants, provided safe storage for our things while we explored the ruins all day, were accommodating to our schedule and dietary needs, and even got us in contact with a tour guide who spoke English for Machu... We stayed at this B&B for two nights while we did our visit to Machu Picchu; Aguas Calientes is quite small, but all built around a hill, so it's not far from the train station to get here just a windy and uphill! We let the desk know what time we would be arriving by Peru Rail and a representative... More
