We stayed at Terrazas del Inca B&B for two nights at the end of June, and were very pleased with our stay. A person from the B&B came to meet us at the train station to bring us to the B&B, which is by the river. The town of Aguas Caliente/Machu Picchu Pueblo is pretty small, so everything was within... The hotel is a little further from the bus stop than some other hotels, but it was worth the climb. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the Direct TV connection, free wifi and free breakfast and coco tea (available anytime). The staff stored our luggage for the day while we visited Machu Picchu and also gave... More

The hotel is conveniently located, clean, and the staff is pleasant. The accommodations are Ok as long as they don't forget to keep an eye on the gas tank that heats the water. Breakfast is good and for an extra charge staff will pack a bag lunch. Lunch options only listed sandwiches, but at my request, they fixed me an... More

We started here for 1 night whilst visiting Machu Picchu. We were looking for a place to base ourselves that was budget to mid range that was clean and safe. From the moment we walked in the door the staff couldn't have been friendlier or mor helpful. The room we stayed in was nice and clean and had a gorgeous... More

The staff are all very helpful, friendly and responsive to emails. A lady picked us up from the train station as arranged. Our room on the 3rd floor by the river, and very clean and spacious. I did not feel the running river noisy, and actually it made me sleep so well. We did not have any problem with hot... More

The staff here was very helpful and friendly. Our room was gorgeous and spacious with a very comfortable bed, private bathroom and mini fridge and safe. We had a view of the river. The breakfast was big and healthy. We had bread, eggs, fruit salad and ham and cheese every morning. The staff also made us good veggie sandwiches for... More

I have stayed at Terrazas del Inca earlier this year, and I have found the people to be very courteous, honest, and friendly. Beautiful location, too. i can't wait to return! The breakfast was delicious and free of charge.

As a member of the group of 10 mentioned below, my review of Terrazas is mixed. We certainly did not expect to spend our first 3 hours in Aguas Calientes sorting through the mess created by Mr Mendoza's poor/misleading communication; he truly misrepresented his property's ability to provide 5 rooms with 2 beds each. That aside, our two-night stay was... More

Greeted from the train by Nelly and she looked after us our stay, providing great advice and home. We only stayed 1 night but she helped us see all of the town to its potential and an amazing dinner recommendation. Close to buses and convenient breakfast time (4.30am) for anyone wanting to get on the first bus to Machu Pichu.

Very solid stopover choice for Machu Picchu. Room was comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water. Nice location a few minutes walk up the hill from the bus/train stations, next to the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well set up for an early start to see Machu Pucchu. Definitely recommended.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Inca Civilization developed the most important culture in South America. Terrazas Del Inca B&B Hostel is located in this area . We are centrally located in the town of Machu Picchu also known as Aguas Calientes. Machu Pichu, the archeological Inca site, is a 25 minute bus drive from Aguas Calientes. The views from the terraces are fantastic and from their rooms can enjoy serene, melodic sound of the river Aquas Calientes.Terrazas del Inca Bed and Breakfast is located 2 blocks from the bus station that takes you to the ruins of Machu Picchu. The bus ride is 25 minutes zig-zag journey to the mountaintop. You will want to have as much time as possible to enjoy the ruins. We recommend that you take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. It is a 2 hour train ride. You´ll spend a comfortable night at our Hostel, wake up early, eat a wonderful complete breakfast, and head up to the ruins by bus while it´s still early. You can catch the sunrise over this beautiful lost city of the Incas (depending on the season) and enjoy the day at this magnificent place. We are happy to assist you with any questions you may have at our front desk. Call for reservations in advance. Our guests are important and we treat you with utmost care. ... more   less
