The people there are nice and helpful. Our room was a private room and it was clean, bed cozy , the view wasn't good, bathroom clean, the wifi only works in the lobby. Breakfast was basic it's better if you go to the mercado and eat caldo de gallina.

Cozy hostel and awesome staff. The breakfast is fantastic. The location was great to since it was my first time in Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes). I enjoyed my stay here and it made for a very relaxing stay in Machu Picchu . Good Wi-Fi, all clean. I met some wonderful people here, including members of staff. Thanks Pirwa Travel and... More

The breakfast was at 4h30 in the morning, perfect for those who will go up to sunrise at Machu Picchu. The facilities were great - comfy beds, clean showers with hot water. The atmosphere was great and it was easy to meeting other travellers. I really enjoyed my trip at this hostel. It's centrally located and very clean. We did... More

Hostel style room didn't have lockers in the room. Shower sprayed right on to the floor and soaked everything. Massive windows from the hallway peered right in to the bedroom. Banging noisy air/con units from adjacent rooms right by your head outside. 4:30 Am breakfast was not served at 4:30 like the signs said. Wifi was unusable with weak signal.... More

Didn't manage ti sleep as the bed Wasn't comfortable at all, and there was a terrible smell, I went to the hall to connect to the wifi (which only works in the hall). There I saw a man sleeping on the sofa in the hall and there was no one awake. So I decide to take a couple of picture... More

typical breakfast is included, it is a bit of a walk from the bus (10 minutes) and in a smelly alley, but not a terrible location as it is 2 minutes from the hot-springs (which I don't really recommend, they smell strongly of sulphur and will stain white clothes). The room was clean and showers were hot. No coffee with... More

Good afternoon, and thank you for your review. We’re glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. Actually, coffee is generally part of the included breakfast, so please forgive the omission during your stay; we’ll try to avoid such oversights in the future so that one can enjoy their day with the requisite caffeine. (A note to possible guests: if you... More

A basic room but very clean. The guy in the counter was very helpful with all of our questions. They let us keep our bags in their lockers after the check out so we could go relaxed to Machu Picchu and enjoy. There is a small supermarket right in front of it and the hostel has a kitchen. I would... More

We stayed in Pirwa Cusco and the hotel was pretty good, so without checking it, we reserved in Aqua Caliente trusting that it would be comparable. Our first nigt was great, in a 4 beds with bathroom, but then they changed us to a 5 bed without bathroom and that was not even human. It smelled awfull of stagnant humidity,... More

We stayed here because it was the sister hostel of a place we'd stayed in Cusco, that wasn't bad. This version was not as good; the hostel is very bare, and was still having building work done to it (on the top floor) when we stayed. The rooms are pretty bare, although there were some handy hooks on the walls.... More
