Don't know how they figured their name, but forget the luxury bit. It's ok, in a kind of travelodge way, but not even the electric sliding doors at the entrance worked !! View of the rapids is good, but loud. Wifi in the lobbies, but not the rooms. Ok breakfast. It's fine for a one night stop.

First of all, no idea what hotel are in the professional photos on this site but it is not this hotel. This is an incredibly basic hotel. It is right on the train tracks and you hear trains REALLY LOUDLY. They sound like they are in your room (as noted in another review). Also, there are no good amenities--no restaurant... More

The hotel is about 10 odd minutes walk from the train station. The lobby is big and the only place to connect wifi. My room was on the 4th floor. The rooms were clean, big and had good view from the balcony.

We left our bags with the front desk while we went to Machu Picch at the unfortunate recommendation of our guide... When we returned to the hotel to pick up our bags and checked them out while still in the lobby. Several expensive items were gone. The same employee who took the bags in the morning was still working at... More

The design of the hotel looked more like one you would find at a ski resort - balconies over the river, large, comfortable beds, and beautiful bathroom complete with deep soaker tub. Unfortunately the water pressure was not strong enough to fill the tub - but that is ok - there was only luke warm water throughout our stay. Hot... More

All the rooms which face the town have the potential to be filled with the smell of diesel fumes from the trains which park directly outside. Directly means, on the tracks which are where one would expect a street to be, a few feet in front of the main entrance. The fumes enter from loosely fitting windows and there is... More

Came here for a night after doing the Inca Trail trek so we were ready for some luxury,. Had a room with a double jacuzzi bath, river views (the constant babbling noise helped us sleep well). Very comfy bad indeed. Good breakfast the next day with plenty fresh fruit strong coffee and juice. There is a railway running a few... More

You've got to be kidding me. You've heard of working on the railroad? Nothing like waking up at 4 AM with a locomotive going through your room. I kid you not! Scared the hell out of us it was so loud. And then they just kept coming. And ALL day long. And new construction on the other side of the... More

Hotel is good. $30 addition for river view. View and sound of river is tranquilizing. One lamp in a bathroom didn't work and can't be fixed. W-fi only in lobby and not always. Breakfast was good and tasty. I think it is good for such a small place as Aguascalientes Calientes.

We stayed in this hotel for just one night, for the same reasons millions of people visit this town: see the Macchu Picchu. Many people choose to leave early for this famous attraction, so the breakfast starts very early (5:30). A train from PeruRail runs just past the hotel which makes a lot of noise - but I did not...
