Nice hotel in Aguas Calientes. The beds are comfortable and rooms are big, However they're either in front and then you hear the trains (right across the street) or they're in the back and you hear the Rio (quite noisy actually as the windows are not sound-proof). Also, there's no heating device in the bathroom which is a bit chilly... More

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes (also called Machu Picchu Pueblo) we checked other hotels from my list and this one was perfect. Our room #204 had a river view. I found the sound of the water very relaxing. Right in the front of the hotel is the railroad. But we heard the train maybe... More

Our room overlooked one of the rivers flowing through Aguas Calientes rather than the train track. We enjoyed time on the balcony recovering, after our visit to Machu Picchu. The clean room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and more than sufficient in size. The hotel desk answered all our questions & mailed our postcards for us. Breakfast buffet... More

When we made the reservation, we thought that it would be a bad experience because it was very cheap. Even though, we decided to stay there because it was very well located. Then, we were surprised with everything: the room and the bathroom were big and clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. We really recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night, and itt was great! Rooms were good sized and clean, with very nice bathrooms. We had rooms facing the river (great view!), which drowns out every other noise. We could feel a little rumble when a train passed, but they didn't seem to go at night, so a room on that side shouldn't have... More

We arrived and went to our assigned room. It had apparently been used as a day room as the towels were used and on the floor and the bed had been slept in. We stayed on the train track side and by 11 PM the last train arrived so it was quiet after that. Breakfast was a disaster as the... More

We came to Machu Picchu without booking knowing there were plenty of places tos stay. We wanted a view of the river and after wandering up the street this was about $80 less than the next hotel which didn't have better rooms. Helpful staff showed us a few rooms and they are all decent size clean and with a nice... More

Stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed our stay. Really clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely bath & shower. Little balcony over looking the fast flowing river. Can be noisy if you don't like that but we found it relaxing. Lovely hot breakfast. Fast wi-fi but not in the rooms. Good location by the railway tracks

Management needs to drop that word "luxury" from the name Andina. Some of the facility's problems may be endemic to Aguas Caliente/Machu Picchu Pueblo since nearly every building is near tracks where trains run constantly. Dark and badly designed, our room wasted the good space it had but at least featured a workable shower. Luckily, we spent most of our... More

The location of the hotel is awful, between the rails and a very noisy river....If you go there you won't sleep one minute! Additionnally the personal is very rude, no "hello", no "thanks"...they are totally impolite!!! They consider the tourists as an ambulant wallet!Very bad place to stay!!!!
