Management needs to drop that word "luxury" from the name Andina. Some of the facility's problems may be endemic to Aguas Caliente/Machu Picchu Pueblo since nearly every building is near tracks where trains run constantly. Dark and badly designed, our room wasted the good space it had but at least featured a workable shower. Luckily, we spent most of our... More

The location of the hotel is awful, between the rails and a very noisy river....If you go there you won't sleep one minute! Additionnally the personal is very rude, no "hello", no "thanks"...they are totally impolite!!! They consider the tourists as an ambulant wallet!Very bad place to stay!!!!

At the hotel right now, listening to the extremely loud diesel trains go by. As always, Peruvian staff are very niece but the hotel is run down and bland. Breakfast is between 5.45 and 8.00! And after that you can not even get a cup of tea. They will not help you with the luggage and there is zero service.... More

Thank God we stayed overnight! Bad service, poor infrastructure, small room. Check-ou at 9 ?? With no later check-out ?? Breakfast average, no hospitality from the employees. Prefer other hotels close to it.

We arrived to this cute little hotel after hiking Inka trail for 4 days! Loved being on Urubamba river and loved the jacuzzi tub to soothe our sore muscles. Never heard train from our room but we were so tired we could have easily slept through it. Loved the town of Aguas Calientes even if there was no power for... More

The Andina Luxury was clean, neat and tidy and for the cost, it should have so much more, if they looked after the little things ... like maintenance. Close to everything, with Urubamba River on one side and the Inca Rail line on the other. Not much you can do about being on the second floor facing the rail line... More

We had a first floor room with a balcony overlooking the Urubamba River which to my delight was raging and roaring. Excellent sleeping sounds. Unfortunately we had left the balcony door open as we went to dinner. We didn't notice any insects when we returned, but I discovered the next day that I had been bitten several times in the... Loved this little hotel right on the Urubamba river! Our room had a great view of the river. Tub / shower. You do have to overlook some interesting electrical and plumbing arrangements. Really nice breakfast with pancakes, eggs, meat, potatoes, and juices. As well they have European meat, cheese, bread, and yogurt. The view of the river can' t be... More

Nice hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. The rooms on the second floor overlook the Urubamaba river making for a great view. The surrounding peaks shrouded in clouds enhance that. Rooms are clean and really very comfortable. No problems with noise overall. Restaurants and market within 1-2 minute walk. Bus stop for MP about 3-4 min walk. The hotel is... More

Booked here by my tour company. I was a bit concerned by the reviews. However, I thought all was well. I liked the proximitybto the river, and it provided some solid white noise. It is near the train station, but there is a siding out front that is occasionally called into service -- I would not describe it as at... More
