Nice hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. The rooms on the second floor overlook the Urubamaba river making for a great view. The surrounding peaks shrouded in clouds enhance that. Rooms are clean and really very comfortable. No problems with noise overall. Restaurants and market within 1-2 minute walk. Bus stop for MP about 3-4 min walk. The hotel is... More

Booked here by my tour company. I was a bit concerned by the reviews. However, I thought all was well. I liked the proximitybto the river, and it provided some solid white noise. It is near the train station, but there is a siding out front that is occasionally called into service -- I would not describe it as at... More

This hotel is 10 feet from an active railroad in the "street," not a tram or a street, a railroad. It is 50 feet from the main rail station. You will hear trains, bells, whistles, horns, and can even understand the RR station loudspeaker. Additionally, there is noise from both the street, as well as the lobby and dining room.... More

The facilities and rooms were very nice. I had a standard room with double bed on the side with the river view. This side was a better alternative to the train side, but still very loud. Rushing water sounds soothing, but it was VERY loud, and made it difficult to sleep. My room had a balcony and jacuzzi tub, and... More

We stayed here as part of our 2 day 1 night Inca trail hike with Adios Adventures. We were given a standard room facing the rail track, and it was very noisy. Coming to the hotel after a long day of hiking, we needed a peaceful place to sleep and did not find it here. After the trains stop running,... More

I will admit that I was wary about staying here after reading such mixed reviews about the hotel, but I was very pleasantly surprised! We were lucky enough to have rooms facing the river, so train noise was not an issue at all. The rooms were large with beautiful updated bathrooms. We stayed here after a 1 day hike on... More

Ok so it's nice to have a river view and the sound of flowing water can be relaxing at night (but maybe annoying to some) but the rooms are musty and a bit outdated. When our room light all of a sudden started flickering brightly at night I thought it would be a brief annoyance. But it lasted ALL night... More

After hiking the Inca Trail for 8 hours/8 miles, Andina Hotel was a welcome sight. Its location was very near to all necessary places: restaurants, shops, bus up and down to/from Machu Pichu, and MOST importantly, our room had a great bed, a balcony and a bathtub!! The comfy bed was much needed, the tub was wonderful for a hot... More

Stayed here for one night after visting Macchu Picchu. My advise for anyone visting Machu Picchu only stay here if you wish to see the sun rise at Macchu Picchu, otherwise head back to the sacred valley. This hotel was ok but Macchu Pichhu pueblo was not my favorite place and possibly where I picked up a bug on our... More

Most of the rooms in this hotel back right up the roaring river, and if you're a fan of white noise like me, it makes for some of the best sleeping around. The beds were spacious comfortable (excellent sheets as well). WIFI in the room was average, which is the best you can expect given the location. You are near... More
