The only positive thing about the hostel is the location. The staff is not very helpful, the rooms are basic as expected but the sheets were too small for the beds. I woke up with the sheets off the bed on the mattress without mattress covers. The breakfast was a waste and thank God we only spent a night here.... More

I didn't even stay here. The bed bug infestation was so bad I left after 10 minutes. They place these green sheets around their beds to help prevent you from finding them. Luckily, I was still able to find them so I never slept in their beds. When I was leaving I noticed them tearing apart two other rooms. Sending... More

A rather cold and curt staff met us at the counter. The room was exceptionally simple with towels that were similar to sandpaper. The window did not close completely thus the town square noise ruined our sleep until very early morning (about 1:30am). At the breakfast we had trouble finding something to eat for our big day at Machu Picchu.... More

The room was really nice, we got one on the top floor which had an outstanding view of the town and mountains. Get up there is you can, the five flights of stairs are worth it. The biggest issue we had making it two stars is the hot water. They did not have hot water on our second day, and... More

We were put here by our tour company as well. After reading the reviews I was a little bit worried but also looked at other places in the town and most reviews for other places say the same. The construction must have been finished by the time we stayed here, as we had no concerns. The room was in one... More

First I want to emphasize that Machu Picchu Pueblo (Formerly known as Aguas Calientes) is a tourist trap in every sense so don't go there expecting any kind of authentic indigenous experience or peace-n-quiet get away (especially if the band is plying in the plaza).. That said, I found the Muyurina to be a basic, decent & clean place to... More

I was put here by my tour company. I have the same comments as pretty much everyone. Looks like it is under construction. Holes in wall, tape holding up light fixture. Bed seemed cleaned and bathroom seemed clean but smelled like sewage. They told me the toilet was leaking but only changed my room when I asked them. No one... More

My wife and I spent and unscheduled night in this hostal on April 2, 1013. I'd just as soon have taken a pass. I say unscheduled because we had intended to walk the Inca Trail but could only do the first day of it. Instead, after a night back in Cusco, we were booked into this place for $60/night USD.... After the service from the hosts in Cusco, this was our last stop, and what a contrast. http://www.hotelmuyurina.com/ The host were not around most of the time, renovations were happening, the first room we were given we could not stay as it smelled like a sewage pipe had been broken. We got moved to another room above which was moderately... More

Let me start with, I did not choose to stay here. It was a case of "bait and switch" by Green Nature Hotel. I will file a complaint separately for their unfair practices. So let me clarify that the Hotel Muyurina which I am referring to is one that is 2 doors away from El Indio Feliz and right next... More
