They were always mopping and spaying floors with insecticide and the lobby reeked of bug spray. 2 meals included but drinks like coffee juice extra. Extremely small portions of food. No wifi in rooms. Cold coffee. Way better value for your money closer to town at Killa Inn

We stayed there as part of a Trafalgar tour. I will say that the location was very good, but that's about it. The hotel looks like it hasn't been refurbished since the 70s; the décor is very tired and won looking. Although they have DirecTV, all we got were error messages that required calling them. Half our group had no... More

Very pricey hotel because of location near Machu Pichu, which is a dream place must be in your "Bucket list", but not in this hotel. Poor infrastructure. Hot water comes and goes and can burn you. Sheets old and broken. Receptionist Jacqueline, only peruvian person that was rude and unreasonable. Much better to have dinner at Indio Feliz. Heater malfunctioned,... More

VERY disappointed in this place ! Nice setting along a raging river - but the view from our room was of a run down building, a huge trash pile, and a laundry place. Okay lobby - small, very plain, not really inviting. Nice dining room view - glass front to overlook the river and mountains. But, our room was really... More

This was a package deal including breakfast and dinner, breakfast was average, dinner was very nice, however there are a lot of lovely restaurants close which would have been nice to go to instead as this is such a quaint town. We had a veranda that over looked the river which was very nice. the room was standard but all... More

The towels we had were covered in writing with pen. The sheets were also dirty with pen markings. The ceiling was actually falling apart. One of the bathrooms had a giant hole in it. There were four of us at dinner and 3 of us had to send our plates back because it was cold and our meat was not... More

It seems quite impossible to my wife and I that quite a few reviewers gave this an Excellent rating. For us, it was a Disaster, with a capital D! It was communicated to us by out tour agency, Best Peru Tours, as an upgrade from the originally scheduled El Mapi hotel in recognition of our celebrating our 50th anniversary on... More

Stayed one night here in a very plain but clean second floor room which contained two full beds separated by a small table. The room looked out on a small lot strewn with garbage. The river was nearby and could be heard as the windows did not quite fit. We were told that there might not be enough hot water... More

This hotel is located right near the Urubamba River, so you can hear the roar of the rapids while you sleep. Very nice if you like white noise. No wifi in the rooms but it was available in the lobby. The stay included breakfast and dinner, which were quite nice. See pictures attached. Overall it was very relaxing, and the... More

Central location - OK if not staying too long - probably value for money. The village is really quite quaint and I loved it. We were on a tour so baggage etc was taken care of. Wifi was difficult and we could only manage it in the downstairs foyer - but surely we can live without wifi for a few... More
