I originally booked into the Inti Punku Inn and found the 1st floor room too noisy. The manager called the sister property, Inti Punku Machu Picchu, and had me moved into that hotel. The room was in the back away from the train station. The room was clean and quiet and a blessing after several days on the Inca Trail.... More

This hotel was close to the train station, but then again everything is in Aquas Caliente. I was surprised that it was not louder than it was, but since it was close to the train and a main walking road there were constant people outside. With the windows open you had to block the talking and the train sounds out... More

We spend one night at the Inti Punku waiting for our exciting entrance to the Machu Picchu after three days wonderful trekking. The hotels is very central, close to the train station, unfortunately anonymous and very simple but clean.

this was the hotel that our tour company booked for us as part of the Lares Trek/Machu Picchu package and we had low expectations given that it was included in the overall price. However we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comforts of the room, bed, bathroom and most of all the included breakfast was a nice big spread... More

Basic room, clean with excellent shower.Breakfast was Ok as was evening meal.Staff were friendly and if you like laid back this is the place to come. Close to building work, indeed it was evident work was also being carried out in the hotel itself, though it became quiet after 7:30 pm.

After spending a week camping in the Andes, the Into Punku Macchu Picchu Hotel was our first "bed" in as much time. We expected to crash on a cheap bed, and for the place not to be particularly clean given the location and sheer numbers of people coming through that area each day. However, we were incredibly surprised by how... More

The room was decent, especially after a long trek. We had some train noise that ended around 9pm. The issue I had was they charged me double the rate of the very next couple checking in for the exact same room. They didn't think I understood spanish, and were subsequently rude to me.

We stayed one night at Inti Punku in Aguas Calientes after hiking the Inca Trail for four days. We really appreciated having a clean bathroom, a hot shower, and a comfortable bed. Our room had all three. However, the rooms didn't look nearly as nice as advertised on the internet and the hotel is sandwiched between a brick building (our... More

We stayed here at the end of our Inca trail trek with Alpaca Expeditions and thought it was a nice little hotel. Good location in Aguas Calientes. We had a nice comfortable bed, the room was warm and had a TV. There was also free wifi in the hotel. Staff were all very friendly. Thank you Dannielle and Pete

My husband and I stayed here as part of a trek to Machu Picchu. A family who was on the same trek as us also checked in to this hotel. Upon checking in, one of our companions actually injured himself because there was glass on the bathroom mat! When we informed the reception about it, they only apologised but did... More
