I found this hotel on the net. Although I had heard about the place while we were in Lagos, I had never visited this place, The check in was smooth and excellent. The Guy at the reception upgraded my Room once I arrived there. The rooms had sparkling white Linen, Clean, Very Clean Bathroom with all accessories. The Room also... More

Reviewing this hotel is going to be difficult. It is a case of extremes. It is usually reserved for expats and it seemed like we were the only africans staying at the hotel Pros: excellent location great food (one of the best in lagos) nice poolside and music good housekeeeping staff Cons Salt water came out of the taps all... wonderful stay the Blowfish Hotel, visited Nigeria on a number of occasions on business, and only thought the Blowfish Hotel is the only hotel worth writing a review about. Location is perfect, its safe, and even safer the moment you enter the hotel. The rooms are spacious (where the pool area is) with modern touch, great access to wifi, decent... More

It's not the most modern of hotels but I felt safe, I enjoyed the slightly quirky decoration and the food was good and plentiful. Rooms are a good size, beds are firm but very comfortable, bathrooms are decent even if the whole place feels a bit dated. There was good wifi in the hotel, which is a must but not... More

This hotel is really not good. From the 1960's style rooms, to insecure rooms and below average breakfast. For a small increase in rate you can stay at the Intercon, 4 Seasons, or Sheraton. And thats the point here, if the rates were NGN30,000 per night it would be fair. But its VERY expensive for what you get. The rooms... More

We never stayed in the hotel; but we decided to spend the weekend in pool side of the hotel. I heard from a friend that you can spend the day and use the hotel swimming pool if you order food from the restaurant; and we did last week, accompanied with some friends . It was perfect for a weekend. The... More

Once again welcomed and looked after by the staff in this great Hotel in Lagos. The food on offer is plentiful and more than enough to please all. The rooms are well laid out and the beds/bedding first class, an observation is the bathroom fittings are in need of service and some previous repairs should be completed in order not... More

I stayed here for 4 nights during a business trip. The location is good (in the heart of the Island), but you need an experienced taxi driver who really knows town to get you there easily which was not a problem for me. They were installing an ATM machine right outside the hotel on my arrival,so hopefully it is up... More

I actually live in the outskirts of Lagos but I spend my weekends at The Blowfish Hotel. The rooms do vary in size but they are clean and comfortable. The new wing behind the pool is my preferred room and the bathrooms are quite nicely appointed with large showers, (the rain showerhead is a nice touch). However, the reason to... More

I stayed three times in the Blowfish in Lagos. The hotel is in Victoria Island, the safest part of the city. The staff is young and very friendly. When you get there the second time, they remember you. In my case even by name. The hotel has nice rooms with free Wifi. The best rooms are in the new building... More
