I stayed at this resort between December 26th and 29th with my family. The room (Swimming Pool block) was averagely okay though over-priced. One can see that the Management has made attempts to diversify the attractions in the resort though a lot of the present attractions are clearly run down. The 'zoo' is a joke. Two diseased looking baboons, two... More

Haven read all the reviews about this place, I naturally expected the worst and I got a bit of that. Rooms were poorly maintained. But generally it was a good experience. The owners are doing a great job @ preserving nature. Enough serenity to Think and reflect. The icing on the cake which really made out stay spectacular was the... More

Please visit this 'resort' if you are dying for a view of slivers of the Lagoon through the obstruction of a concrete forest. Otherwise, talk a walk down third mainland bridge in Lagos. The view there is much nicer. In short, do not choose this place as a destination off the internet, you will highly likely face a bitter disappointment.... More

This could be the best place to be in Nigeria. Alas it is not maintained. And it's unduly expensive for the quality I experienced. Rooms are substandard, beddings are very old, even the beautiful exteriors which should be manicured are left to their own device. Give me that place and 2 years and you won't be able to leave when... More

I spent a week in Whispering Palms when we went a a training and we needed a quiet place where the executives attending could be cu out of the world and Whispering Palms was the answer, we had an air-conditioned bus waiting for us by the airport in Ikeja and driver took us the resort. The journey to the resort... More

The best place for strategic meetings & retreats. I enjoy being at whispering palms, staff just do their jobs along with smiles on their faces, you don't know when you begin to relate. Beautiful environment, clean rooms, wonderful people.

I was blown away with the ambience of the resort. Good for honeymoon. If you need to shut the outside world that's the place to be. Quite princely but you can get a bargain. Good for retreats, seminars and holidays. One word for the resort is BEAUTIFUL. ENJOY.

My husband and I decided to spend January 1st and 2nd 2013 at Whispering Palms with the children. First of all I went to the website but could not make a booking so we decided to drive out instead. At a point we were lost and we called a phone number listed on the website as that of the Manager.... More

Great location by the lagoon. Nice waterfront scenery. Terrible service. Food is too expensive. No value for money. Was to stay for 4 nights but left after 2. Has great potential but management really needs to wake up!
