This is the by far one of the worst hotel we stayed. Firstly, there were small insects hovering at our doorstep. As we entered, we were shocked to find the room was so jaded. When we turned on the aircon it sounded like an airplane taking off and it doesn't stop unless we switched off. The only consolation was having... More

This place was incredible. I arrived and thought this is out of my budget, however was given a dorm room and I was the only one in the dorm. Therefore for less than $10/night I had a private large room with private bath. The flowers and fruit trees are amazing. Private beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and they... More

25$ a night in a double room with fan. Beautiful situated at the shores of the lake in the Charco Verde area. Helpful staff, and decent, reasonable priced food in the restaurant. Very good breakfast! Don't make the effort to go to next door "Charco Verde Hotel" for dinner, the service is pretty bad. We went on a one-day trip... More

Basic hotel on Ometepe Island. It was basic but clean. The food was average but good. The sunset on slightly cloudy day was awesome! Hotel is not near anything. Lots of optional things to do on Ometepe and they can setup anything you want to do.

We stayed here during our stay on Ometepe. We've since returned to Nicaragua and have plans/dreams to live there at least half of the year. We're happy we visited Ometepe but we have no plans to return. It's a place that you should see, but there are SO many wonderful places in Nicaragua. The bugs/mosquitos in this room were almost... We stayed here for a couple nights and were happy with it. It's isolated, so options for eating out are limited to either eating here or at Charco Verde "next door" (a short walk down the beach). The food here is good, but kind of expensive. We actually found that the food was better and better priced at Charco Verde.... More

Not a bad spot if you get a room overlooking the lake. Some of the other rooms can get very hot and you have to pay extra for the air con. Meals at the restaurant were ok and reasonably priced. You can swim in the lake but will need transport to get anywhere else.

Many lakeside cabins, most air-conditioned, roofed, open-air restaurant. Food OK, same meal choices for lunch and dinner. Transport provided/included for large groups from Moyogalpa, and you may be offered guided tours while on the way to hotel by tour guide who is not linked to the hotel. Wi-Fi access through most of the site. Desktop computer with internet access in... More

Nice little rooms arranged as bungalows next to the lake. Unfortunately my room was ant infested but a nice staff member came to spray them for me. Opening both windows allowed an amazing breeze to come through the room.

Sure there are things that could be done better, but given the circumstances, the place, and other factors, this hotel fills your needs when you're in Ometepe. The Wi Fi never worked (unless you sit in the 'lobby'). The rooms are basic, clean. You basically sleep there when you're at a place that is as beautiful as Ometepe. There are... More
