I liked the little huts and the food was also really nice. Unfortunately we had a wide variety of insects in our room, I know it is impossible to get rid of all the insects and creepy crawlies, but they could have done some more effort. Wonderful views from terrace. Generally we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. more

Stayed in Casita 22. 3 times when I turned on the bathroom faucet a frog popped out. By the third time I got used to it. The room has basic amenities such as a/c, cold running water and electricity. I didn't have a problem with mosquitoes but there were frogs, geckos and ants in the room. The air conditioner works... more

We stayed 3 nights here & we were somewhat disappointed on the whole. We didn't have a problem with the room, the small bathroom (shower temperature ranged from warm to cold) or the lovely gardens immediately around our cabin. Just back from ometepe and we found that Villa Paraiso was very very windy at this time of year. I would recommend going to a hotel on the other side of the lake as the wind was so strong that everyone looked for protection behind the blinds. Stopped at Charco verde which was much nicer although flies were anoying there... more
