It's not worth the $45, the people that worked there were not very helpful and our bathroom smelled so bad we could not use it and had to go to the one outside. The only good thing is that it's in front of the beach Santo Domingo. NOT recommended at all.

The location of the Finca, right on the shore of Lake Nicaragua could provide a superb location to stay and relax. It has phenomenal potential to be a fabulous resort hotel, restaurant, and an escape from the outside world. Unfortunately the owner does not seem to see what is there, with well trained staff and a bit of investment this... More

Hotel is directly located on the beach Playa Santo Domingo. We stayed in a small cabana on the opposite site of the road. Cabana was quite with a small garden around it. Could have been a little bit cleaner but no bugs or else inside. Beach is beautiful and clean. Restaurant offered good food and wasn't too expensive. Note that... More

A relaxing 2 days here following the volcan concepcion hike lulled me into a false sense of security when checking out. Although the bill seemed a little steep I was in a bit of a rush and didn't give it the attention it deserved. It was only on the bus I realised I had been overcharged by over $20 through... More

The room on the 2nd floor was OK at first. The bed sheets were stained from day 1. We had ants invasions every night, although we move our food away after the first night. Wi-Fi was provided, but was constantly OFF. On our last night, there was a power failure on the island and the hotel had a generator for... More

Things did start off very well here. We had booked the room at the ferry terminal and arrived late just as the sun was going down. When they took us to their $35 dollar room we couldn't believe what we were seeing. We went around the back of the building where she showed us the room. She opens the door... More

Great service, all the staff is very friendly, the food is very good and a great price, right on the best beach in the island, birds come to visit while you have breacfast. Very clean rooms, good for the price, the decoration is not chic, but who needs that when you are in an ecological paradise, clean rooms, good food... More

Really nice beach, good restaurant, hot shower and a/c. Took bus from Altagracia and stayed for just one night. Really friendly and helpful staff! Had a great dinner. There's also a great vegetarian restaurant just down the beach!

Although the location of the restaurant is ideal, with beautiful beach views from nearly every table, the food left something to be desired and, for the price, it really wasn't worth it for us. There were many American items on the menu, but we tried the traditional fried fish (with salsa) with rice, beans and a salad and the waiter... More
