The young lady who checked us in did not speak English and we don't speak French but everything worked out fine. The food was great and the service outstanding. We had... More

We stayed at the Riad dar Sofian for two nights. The hotel has a beautiful interior design, a wonderful pool area and great food. The staff is extremely friendly and we had very interesting conversations with the owner. Would definitely recommend this to anyone planning a trip to Zagora!

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent service. Friendly atmosphere. Good price. International and local residents. We are spanish students travelling around morocco during easter. We found this lovely hotel by chance and they were kind enough to fit us into a very nice room when there were, technically, no rooms available.

We had stayed at Riad dar Sofian in June 2013 and I have meant to write a review ever since. This is a very charming, luxurious hotel. Service was superb. The pool was fantastic, after a long day of traveling in the desert. The restaurant was great. We are vegetarian and the kitchen staff was wonderful about creative interesting meals... More

During our stay the Manager/owner was not in town, but the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, although the Baby bed was no longer fully functional (one end sagged down) and we don't understand why such a nice place does not have doors between bed room and toilet area, just curtains. Then we... More

We were here for only 1 night, and regretted having to leave so soon. We were taken away by how beautiful the outdoor lounging area is, especially at night when the lights are turned on. It would be heavenly to lounge outdoors by the pool during the hot summer months! We enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner in their beautiful... More

We very much enjoyed our stay in dar sofian. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The surroundings were traditional style with a modern Moroccan twist. Breakfast more than plentiful. Loved the outdoor lounging area and the garden was beautiful. Definitely recommend.

A bit out of the way, about 3km from town, in a lush palmeraie, we had a charming room, soothing complementary bath products, a very good brochette dinner with a local red wine, after a chilled glass of white with various nuts as a pre dinner drink; the next morning a luscious breakfast with home made jams, a true marmellade...
