This place was very disappointing, it's very dark, with a lot of steep steps and extremly low ceilings. The door of our room was 1,50m!!! We had a reservation for a bigger and more expensive room, but this was so stuffed with furnitures that you could hardly move. I wonder how the small rooms look like? The bathroom was the size... This would definately be a good place to stay in this region. Funky furnishing, very individual rooms with quirky corners ( remember to bend your head) Good wholesome home cooked food served in pretty dining room & breakfast served upstairs on the terrace with a beautiful view. If you get a chance do try & chat with the owner Monsieur Philippe;... More

The rooms are eclectically furnished but I smashed my head on the low ceiling a few times. Food is nothing special- the usual tagines, etc. A lovely setting by the palmeraie and the top deck is a nice place to read and relax. But the usual story- pretentious French people gouging the public on some orientalist fantasy that is not... More

I am a photographer. I travel the world and i can see the difference between a bad guesthouse, a good one, and one that is good but has nothing special about it. Dar Infiane is a great guest house with a beautiful soul. I had a great time at Dar Infiane for new year's eve. The house is so charming.... More

This old Moroccan House has been beautifully restored and makes a fascinating place to stay. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the dining room is also traditional and idiosyncratic. We loved it! However if you are disabled in any way this is not for you. The steps are very seep, and all the rooms have extra steps up to... More

We loved spending one night at Dar Infiane. The hotel is placed in the old kasbah of Tata and has completely been redecorated in a tasteful way. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, the air conditioning works well. The views from the rooftop terras are unforgettable. The staff is very nice, the owners extremely welcoming. They offered us drinks and... More

We booked 3 single rooms in this "hotel" and confirmed by email. On the day of arrival we called in the morning to re-conform our stay. We arrived at 17:30h and asked if someone could help us carry the luggage up to the hotel. "NO" was the answer of the Moroccan lady of the house. And "we have no 3... More

Patrick Simon and his kind wife have offered Us an unforgivable new year's eve. A dinner together with friends of them, me, my girlfriend and my BMW rider partner. Of course we paid, we were guest of the hotel, but the atmosphere, the kindness and the courtesy attention the paid has no price. We were riding through deserts and huge... More

We had a phone reservation at this Dar. To reach the house we had to climb at least 30 steps with some of them higher than one foot. I could not be standing in one the the proposed room and I am only 6 feet 2. When we asked for a price rebate we were brushed aside. It goes without... More

Really had a great time here. It is a real special place and beautifully restored. If you look for something authentic on a beautiful spot but prefer European standards in the heat of the dessert you should definitely spend one or two nights at Dar Infiane.
