We spent two nights in the Dar Zitoune at the end of a week in Morocco and it was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The service is second to none. The location in acres of beautiful gardens is perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. more

this was the final hotel of our 8 days in mid Morocco and easily the best of the whole trip. It is professionally run, everything works, staff are most pleasant/helpful and we enjoyed everything - spacious and well fitted rooms, food and service (both casual and less casual), glorious gardens and ambience, very pleasant pool area. We left after two... more

The Garden of Eden has vanished, they say But I know the lie of it still Just turn to the left by the Bridge of Finea And stop when half way to Cootehill. It's there that you'll find it, I know well enough If memory has answered my call. For the grass it is green around Ballyjamesduff And the blue... more

My wife, daughter, and I, stayed there for a week over Christmas. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, the grounds very beautiful, the two pools very good, the Hammam and massage well-organised and restful. The manager, owner, and staff, were all professional and charming. The meals (on half-board) were all good, and sometimes outstanding. Breakfast could be in the restaurant,... more

A little piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the town of Taroudant which is not a tourist area like the towns of Agadir, Casablanca and Marrakech. All the staff at the Riad Da Zitoune are so friendly, attentive and polite, nothing ever too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent and although fairly new, still managed to... more

Cannot speak highly enough about Dar Zitoune. Friendly and attentive staff - beautiful rooms - serene environment - outstanding quality of food. After 27 years of international travel, this may be one of the best value for money hotels in which we have stayed. more

I have only just discovered listings for Riad Dar Zitoune. It is more than 2 years since we stayed at this gorgeous place but the comments and photos transport me straight back I was travelling with a girlfriend, we had spent time in Fes, Skoura and were on route to Essaoura. We had driven from Skoura (many hours, many adventures,... more

This is truly an wonderful place to stay - the accommodation, garden, service and food were to die for! We pulled in here late afternoon and stayed just one night due to our tight schedule unfortunately. The grounds and pool were surrounded by a garden of fruit trees allowing much privacy and peace after the hassle of the Marrakech. The... more

My friend and I stayed at the Dar Zitoune in November last year, but when we decided to go back to Taroudannt in February, we decided to stay at the Palais Salam because it was closer to the city centre, but we didn't complete our stay there and decided to move to the Dar Zitoune because we felt it was... more

I stayed at the Riad Zitoune in March 2008 and enjoyed some much needed Moroccan Sun in beautiful surroundings. It's a fabulous class place the actual perfect realisation of the dream of a Swiss couple with everything that implies and where no second rates are tolerated. The food is brilliant, the breakfast sumptous, great coffee and more than you can possibly manage... more
