We have very mixed feelings about this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights during public/religious holidays (Eid- al Adha) and most staff were sent home to spend time with their families. We had no hot water, which is not a major issue in the South of Morocco, but it would have been nice to get to know about it beforehand.... More

While I was only planning to stay in the desert for 2 or 3 days, I enjoyed it so much at Sahara Garden that I stayed for nearly a week. Abdou picked me up as I got off the bus in Erfoud early in the morning, then we drove by 4x4 to the kasbah hotel. Beautiful rooms and premises with... More

Amazing location, very helpful staff and the best camel ride into the desert I've ever been on! The food was pretty good considering how far out it is and there is a huge amount of things you can choose to do!

To talk to local people and receive an understanding of true Moroccan culture was priceless. The nomadic people of the desert our hospitable, professional, and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. It was something I have dreamed about for a long time and I don't know if I will ever fully digest what I just experienced. Arriving to... More

We visited Sahara Garden as a family, with three children between 9 and 16 years old. We travelled through Morokko with a normal car and had an appointment with Brahim at the Afriquia gas station on the road between Rissani and Merzouga. Brahim guided us to his camping, where we parked our car and switched to Brahim’s 4x4. Brahim brought... More

It is hard to give this property a rating. It is so unique. On the one hand the people that work there are fantastic. You could give them an excellent based on this. On the other hand, there is only cold water, the showers have wood pallets to stand on with hand-held sprayers and the tents were warm. Now a... More

I was part of a group of 9 women on a 12 day adventure through Morocco, guided by Hassan with the amazing Sahara Magic Tours. One of our stops was at Sahara Gardens where we spent the night in the tents and had one of the most unforgettable nights ever! It started when we walked over the sand dunes to... More

Wouldn't recommend this place. The staff was annoing, so it was difficult to relax. Can't tell too much about the food as I'm not an amateur of local cuisine (except of Harira soup and juicy domestic fruit!). Liked morning stroll with camels across the dunes a lot, that was definitely worthwile. But didn't like the host as he was too... More

I travelled to Sahara Garden with three other people as part of a tour organised by the Desert Majesty tourist agency. I thoroughly enjoyed the much too short stay at Sahara Garden bivouac. . The staff at Sahara Garden were very attentive, helpful and fun – thanks Brahim, Aziz and others. The accommodation consists of a large, sturdy tent, the... More

This was a great experience that passed too quickly. I had a Berber tent to myself with a very comfortable bed and an electric light. There was a separate shower and toilet area. The people there were friendly and very much wanted everyone to have a great experience. The food was delicious. The entertainment was joyful and the desert was... More
