We only stayed here for one night. We throuroughly enjoyed the experience of this motel. Amazing food and brilliant service. Loved the day spa. I thoroughly enjoyed dining in different locations at each meal time. We arrived mid afternoon, after 6hrs travelling and were greeted with a lively lunch and a crisp white wine. Great stay in the desert.

i have traveled the world, and there is simply no other more enchanting experience than that of the Dal Ahlam (period). My family and I came for the week of New Years 2013/4 and it was beyond any expectation (and that goes for my entire family . . . of kids and adults ages 20-60). The place is magnificent, the... No deserto as acomodações são super precárias,o banheiro é um nojo!!! Awfull sheets and pillows. The way to the desert is long and does not have a bathroom ,so you are suppose to go in the sand!!! We were 5 couples and came to Dar Ahlam which was highly recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. It was even better than expected. What a fabulous property! It certainly is not for the feint of heart price wise but it is worth every MAD and everything is included even excursions and lunches off property. Every delicious... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a group bicycle tour, one night of which was in the desert. The Casbah is spectacular, great rooms, fabulous common areas, beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, and gourmet meals. There was literally nothing the staff wouldn't do, with free laundry nightly. As if this wasn't enough, they arrange for luxury dinner and... More

In many ways much better than expected. The silence of the desert permeates the place so you are always peaceful. The blue, blue skies above and the birds singing all the time are wonderful. All our meals were served in different locations at our own private table. Truly glorious with candlelight at night. An excursion for sunset to an 11th... More

This was the pinnacle of our honeymoon, we had arranged for a suite and a night in the desert. It was a very long journey to get out to Ouarzazate as we'd come via Fez (the long way). Every night we dined in a different location with a different meal that the hotel chose for us, it was always a... More

We visited Dar Ahlam for one night on our whirlwind tour of Morocco We are a family of 3 traveling with our 15 year old son on this trip. I have read all the other reviews and agree wholeheartedly how amazing this hotel is. My main advice is that this hotel is an entire experience not a one night stop... More

My wife, 16 year old son and I spent three splendid nights at Dar Ahlam in December, 2013. I highly recommend the hotel. This is a unique place. It’s a property where your stay is tailored to you. If you don’t like something with your room, or with the planned arrangements, all you need to do is speak up, and... More

Dar Ahlam offers flawless, unique, silent and discrete experience. Staff is unusually well trained and discrete. The feeling of being in a Morrocan Fortress is also quite unique. Its architecture and objects create an atmosphere quite hard to describe, but certainly unique. Important to mention the day/night in the desert experience. Being there is beautiful, silent and the service is... More
