This was the pinnacle of our honeymoon, we had arranged for a suite and a night in the desert. It was a very long journey to get out to Ouarzazate as we'd come via Fez (the long way). Every night we dined in a different location with a different meal that the hotel chose for us, it was always a... More

We visited Dar Ahlam for one night on our whirlwind tour of Morocco We are a family of 3 traveling with our 15 year old son on this trip. I have read all the other reviews and agree wholeheartedly how amazing this hotel is. My main advice is that this hotel is an entire experience not a one night stop... More

My wife, 16 year old son and I spent three splendid nights at Dar Ahlam in December, 2013. I highly recommend the hotel. This is a unique place. It’s a property where your stay is tailored to you. If you don’t like something with your room, or with the planned arrangements, all you need to do is speak up, and... More

Dar Ahlam offers flawless, unique, silent and discrete experience. Staff is unusually well trained and discrete. The feeling of being in a Morrocan Fortress is also quite unique. Its architecture and objects create an atmosphere quite hard to describe, but certainly unique. Important to mention the day/night in the desert experience. Being there is beautiful, silent and the service is... More

First of all.....it's a Relais and Chateaux property. If you like a private and exclusive travel experience go to Dar Ahlam. It's a small boutique hotel, clean decor, amazing Moroccan food and service. All the great experience begin upon the arrival with a warming welcome fruit and nuts basket. The room is big and looks like a villa with a... More

While we only stayed for one and a half days and one night at Dar Ahlam it was beyond a memorable experience from the moment we arrived. We were taken care of by everyone and our needs were always anticipated. It is a magnificent place and the dream that it represents itself to be both inside and out - definitely... More

Everything is very beautiful and comfortable. Our suite in the kasbah was lovely but not that special. What makes this place special is the delicious surprise meals you get tucked away in the gardens or on a terrace. The table service is always different and beautiful, and the evening candles are magical. There are always rose peddles sprinkled on the... More

We very much enjoyed the night we spent at Dar Ahlam in June, 2013 on an anniversary trip. The property is remarkably peaceful, the service terrific, the food is very good, and the entire experience is truly personal. We arrived at Dar Ahlam after a night at an unaffiliated desert encampment so we were ready to unwind and relax. The... More

Home away from home, in an unexpected place. Each room has its own personality. The property of the hotel is to dream for. Every meal was spectacular and served in a different location. The service of the staff was impeccably brilliant. Every little detail is amazingly cared for. It is laterally an oasis in the middle of a beautiful country.

Family trip with 5 rooms in early January The property is more of a luxury guesthouse than a hotel It breaks a lot of the traditional codes of regular hotels A lot of attention to details the overnight in the desert was fantastic
