The concept of Dar Ahlam was beyond our expectations, they don't have a restaurant they surprised you in every meals round the hotel ,ones in the garden and The Other in the roof and every place was wonderful , the building is awesome and the rooms are well designed, the management were great and all the stuff were so nice and... My husband and i just got back from Morocco. The definite highlight of our trip was our 3 night stay at Dar Ahlam. All the raves about this special place are well deserved. The staff is so unobtrusive but attentive and the food is to die for. The trip to the desert camp is definitely a must do - a... More

In a remote village, in a remote spot, a remote place providing a unique experience. Amazing staff, fabulous food, fascinating day trips and charming spa. The hotel has a warm pool, a room where clients can meet.. Otherwise your room is very private.. We feel we need to spend a few days at Dar Ahlam, it grows on you. The... More

My wife and I recently spent 3 days at Dar Ahlam during our trip to Morocco. What a special location. The hotel really focuses on creating intimate and romantic settings - each of our meals were set up privately at different locations at the hotel or in the oasis. There are no phones and no TVs (though you can get... More

I can not begin to explain the specialness of this hotel. We stayed for four nights with our two teenaged children. While it is not easy to get to, it will reward you dearly. We stayed in the Family Villa which had plenty of space - two separate bedrooms and a living room. It has a private pool but it... More

My daughter and I spent 10 days touring Morocco and Dar Ahlam was my favorite hotels of the entire journey. I did not know what to expect from Ouazazate as it is a smaller country town and off the beaten track. But this hotel, the services it provides, and the excursions they offer can keep any traveler occupied and happy.... More

You can also find reviews of the magnificent Dar Ahlam under Skoura reviews, where it is #1 of 2 hotels. But since there were far fewer reviews there, I decided to review it here, even though it is at least 30 minutes outside Ouarzazate (but only 2 minutes from the small village of Skoura). If you are considering staying here,... More

We only stayed here for one night. We throuroughly enjoyed the experience of this motel. Amazing food and brilliant service. Loved the day spa. I thoroughly enjoyed dining in different locations at each meal time. We arrived mid afternoon, after 6hrs travelling and were greeted with a lively lunch and a crisp white wine. Great stay in the desert.

i have traveled the world, and there is simply no other more enchanting experience than that of the Dal Ahlam (period). My family and I came for the week of New Years 2013/4 and it was beyond any expectation (and that goes for my entire family . . . of kids and adults ages 20-60). The place is magnificent, the...
