Our host, Ali, was a most excellent host and person. He was very helpful and kind. The Guest House is located on the edge of the Sahara, the edge to nowhere. To pull off the operation Ali and his family manage, requires a great deal of skill. I was very impressed with how the staff was managed, their attentiveness and... More

Most friendly host! We would definitely stay here again on a next stay. On arrival the host was already saying hello when I was still in the car. He take us up to the roof for a welcome tea. From there you have a nice view at the dunes. We arranged a morning trip in the dunes to see sunrise,... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in April-one night in the guesthouse and then one night camel trek out into the desert. Accommodation at the guesthouse, the overnight desert camp and a 4WD trip locally on the day in between, were all arranged easily and efficiently by email with Ali. Our ensuite room was clean and tastefully decorated... More

Guest House Merzouga is truly a gem in the Sahara! We would return again and again without question. Lahcen and his brothers, family and team - so welcoming, friendly and just a delight to spend time with. The room, the terrace, the food, the breakfast, the assistance and the genuine kindness was amazing. Thank you all at Guest House Merzouga... More

Of all of the places we stayed in Morocco during our ten-day trip, this was the most unforgettable. The brothers welcomed us with open arms, and took great care of two of our party who were sick. They even cooked special food for them and checked in on them (while the rest of us went into the desert!) The rooms... More

Maison Merzouga is a wonderful place to stay when you are in Hassi Labied. The B&B is immaculate, the rooms are very big, quite and "handy", the swimming pool is clean and actually a good oasis in the middle of the desert, the whole staff (basically Seggaoui family) is kind and caring. From the roof you can clearly see the... More

A date with the desert? Stay at Merzouga guesthouse in Hassi Labid (a village a few minutes drive from Merzouga ‘ down town’). The rooms are big, wel cared for and clean. There are lounge area’s, a courtyard with trees, a pool with cold cold water (bliss in the heat) and a roof terrace overlooking the dunes. The food is... More

What can I say that has not already been said? How about this: They should get a ten star rating. Here is an important thing, it rally is an oasis in Morocco. Ali is a great guy, and he really gets the idea of not pressuring you to buy or do stuff. So we wanted to do the overnight camel... More

I really cannot say enough good things about Maison Merzouga. The wonderful family who own and run this utterly charming and immaculate guest house pay such close attention to detail and make everyone feel at home. The interiors are beautifully and very comfortably furnished with many local touches, such as 'magic' carpets on all of the floors and walls, basins... More

Maison Merzouga was an amazing stay in Morroco. The rooms which we stayed in were very nice, especially the air-conditioners!The owner and his brother-in-law (who was our guide when we went to the desert to find fossils , were so kind and were great with kids. The black dessert expedition included many interesing details about desert life which you could simply...
