The ksar is right at the edge of the dunes -- it feels like the frontier of civilization. We were received with gracious hospitality with mint tea and cookies to fortify us before boarding our camels for a two hour ride into the dunes to our bivouac in the desert. We were ably led by Mohammed and his colleague from... More

Excursions booked via this hotel were very good, both the cameltour (camping) & the 4x4 excursion. Rooms were good. Food: was good but not a la carte (but if you have an allergy like myself which I told them on their arrival they were not difficult and took it into account as much as possible). Service: Maroccan like, which means... More

Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, food is nice! We slept 1 night in the desert and left our big bags in the hotel. We also did a tour by 4x4, which was great as well! The pool was good to cool down.

Probably best hotel in Merzouga. Not western standard but pretty clean and comfortable given the location. Food is included and not a la carte (what they serve is all they have for the day) but excellent. Rooms are spacious, clean and aircon. Pool is nice. The quality of sleep is incredible. Being at the outskirts of the oasis, in front... More

After 10 hour drive from Fes (our car had broken down adding 3.5 hours to our drive) including battling a sandstorm we were met by our smiling and warm host - Ali. He immediately made us comfortable, offered us dinner and provided entertainment that washed to worries of our day away! We stayed at the Riad one night and then... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2013, one night at the hotel and the other at their bivouac in the sand dunes. The room we stayed in was extremely large and well equipped with a large shower. The only draw back was that it was not possible to have a shower from the afternoon onwards since the water... More

We arrived at this hotel as part of an individualised desert tour. Our driver dropped us off and we were the responsibility of the hotel for the next 48 hours. The first room we were shown was truly dismal - small, dark and with no hanging or cupboard space. Fortunately we were moved to a better one after complaining. Overall,... More

On the recommendation of a friend I stayed here last night. It's a very peaceful spot close to the largest dunes. All sorts of activities can be arranged by Ali but I didn't have time to try them out. The meals served by the pool were very good, the staff courteous, wifi was strong and available in the rooms. If... More

Ksar Bicha is an amazing hotel near the Sahara Desert, we stayed at the hotel one night and went on a camping inside the Sahara Desert one night. The camping was really fun with 1.5hrs of camel massage (rough camel ride), then we stayed at the tents to enjoy dinner, dancing with locals staff under the stars, waking up for... More
