Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and kids (aged 11 and 12). Nice clean hotel, good pool, and 'OK' breakfast. We contacted Moha directly (based on other trip advisor recommendations), and we must say that we were not disappointed. He arranged to pick us up from Marrakech. His cousin Mr Ali picked us up in a comfy Land... more

My wife and I spent two nights at Kasbah Mohayut as part of our honeymoon, and it was by far the best experience we had in all of Morocco. The combination of the great hotel, incredible and friendly staff, and a remarkable camel ride and night in the desert was like nothing else we did. The hotel is very comfortable,... more

1 night at camel bivouac & 1 night at hotel. Good service the whole time. Professional guide for camels for group of 7 (incl. 2 of us) leaving the hotel at 5pm for the dunes, dinner at the camp, overnight in tents, then return via dromidaire to the hotel for 1 night in a room. Very windy upon our arrival,... more

We were hit by the end of a 4 day sandstorm on the way here and scammed into paying for a room in a dive in Rissani despite having pre-paid for the Mohayut. The manager had been in Rissani and went to collect us, only to be told "they asked not to be disturbed". Anyway, we got to the Mohayut... more

We stayed at Mohayut in January this year and we have mixed feelings about our stay. The Kasbah offers an authentic experinece by the edge of the desert and it has all the necessary amenities for where it is. There are some minor glitches that are not capable of spoling the experinece and the views, and these include: the light... more

My husband, two children, aged 15 and 17, and I just had a wonderful three day trip into the desert with Mohammad helping us to organize it. He sent his cousin, Lahcen, driving a very nice Toyota Land Cruiser, to pick us up in Marrakesh. Lahcen was a careful and safe driver. The Berbers are excellent at languages and Lahcen... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in January. The nights are cold but there are plenty of blankets so we were not cold in bed. The heaters in some rooms work better in some rooms than others - ours was not very efficient. Our room was pleasant but there was nowhere to hang clothes apart from a hatstand, and the... more

Stayed at the Kasbah Mohayut in November and really enjoyed it. The place has a great atmosphere about it and the staff are very helpful. It is clear that a lot of work has been put into the details. We tried tagine meals all over Morocco and found the one at the Mohayut to be the best meal we had.... more

After reading the reviews on this site & the write up in Lonely Planet we selected this hotel. Initially was planning to spend a night in the hotel & then a night in the dunes. In the end we rang ahead, arrived at 3pm & did the trek that night to their private camp. everything was excellent, guide was a... more

This simply the best hotel in the world !!! It is impossible not to love this hotel . The dunes are 20 yards away, also the highest ones, other auberges/hotels do not have the same prime location. The roof terrace is lovely for the views. The garden with its many secluded areas for a quiet drink. The small pool was... more
