We stayed for one night, the second one we would sleep in the desert. Nonetheless, we were offered without having to ask to keep our room well beyond checkout time and come back to take a shower the next morning. The rooms are spacious are nicely appointed - we felt very comfortable here!

Not to overwork the term "oasis" particularly when travelling in the 21st century , but The Kasbah Mohayut is a traveler,s dream . We had completed a difficult drive from the Atlas mountains, 2 feet of snow, and here is a place of respite. Shady palms, birds singing, fountains in the courtyards. The rooms are large and comfortable as are... More

Right in front of the beautiful red dunes, this place is perfect. Spacious rooms, hot shower, nice swimmingpool, great terrasse with view on dunes and stunning sunset. Everything is clean, food is good. Wifi also well working. Only downside: a LOT of Dutch people. As Dutchies ourselves not the way to feel like we are travelling abroad. :-) This hotel... More

Submitting this review a little late (5 months after we visited) but it's a credit to Kasbah Mohayut that the memories are still so fresh in my mind. This place literaly saved our vacation. I travelled in Morocco with my wife and four little kids in October 2014, and after all the long drives and car sickness and various mishaps,... More

We booked 3 rooms for a night in this oasis hotel. As we were travelling in December we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor areas but were comfortable in the dining room with a table beside the open fireplace. The menu for dinner was very good and the food even better. The rooms we were allocated were very clean and... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Kasbah Mohayut. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The hotel is located a few kilometres from Merzouga. It literally backs onto the sand dunes and thus you are able to literally walk out the back of the hotel straight onto the dunes. We stayed in a Berber suite which was like our own home... More

Rising out of the expanse of Morocco, the Kasbah Mohayut is truly an oasis! I would describe the location as "somewhere in the middle of nowhere"! HA I spent a day and night here on my way to the Merzouga and the Sahara. It was a refreshing, relaxing delight. Upon arrival I was greeted by a small band of local... More

The hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. My family stayed here 2 nights during one of the worst storms Morocco has seen in a decade. It was raining hard even in the desert. Eventually some water even got into our lovely room, at which point the hotel promptly switched our room and helped us move luggage. We switched our... More

We spent 2 nights at Kasbah Mohayut and were very impressed by the quality of the staff, the beautiful setting and the incredible personality of owner Mohamed! He is very knowledgeable about Merzouga and the region, hospitable, efficient and super friendly. We also liked the food and were positively surprised by the standard of the rooms and bathrooms. A must... More

We have been two nights in Merzouga, onein the hotel and another inthe desert camp. They organized everything: 4x4 tour and desert experience. Everybody has been very kind and friendly, like friends. The hotel is very nice (bereber kashba construction) with good instalations and meals. Big rooms with two double beds. Very clean and confortable. Second night (New Year's Eve)... More
