I have spent a night in the Sahara before so was interested to find out how this would compare. Very basic last time but fun. This was an incredible experience. Everything has been thought of. To think that we could get hot and cold water for showering was amazing and I tried a short shower just because I could and... More

Don't miss this experience. You take a 2x4 into the desert. We had a large tent with a bathroom and shower. Its rustic, but for one night...great. there are 4 tents in a square. Our friends had one, one was empty and the 4th was our dining tent where the came and served us dinner. It seemed like we had... More

What can you say about sleeping in a tent amongst the sand dunes of the Sahara, except WOW! And how about having a bed (wrapped in mosquito netting) electric lights, sink, toilet, and shower with hot and cold running water. Now that's Glamping! After your camel ride to watch the sunset your camel guide drops you off at the tent... More

What an experience! We drove to our location in 4X4 vehicles. Approaching the huge sand dunes was impressive. We were put directly on camels for a ride into the desert. Warning, hold on tight as the camels lean far forward and complain loudly as they get to their feet! A ride of about an hour total was fabulous. The scenery... More

When looking back on our 12 day trip to Morocco, this day was definitely one of the highlights. My mother thought about missing out on the sunset Dromedary ride through the dunes, until i took it upon myself to make it a mandatory famjam experience. We were lucky, apparently there are only really two months a year that this can... More

We stayed in the rooms in the hotel. They are lovely rooms. Reception and eating areas are a bit shabby, food is average. It's really all about the sand dunes and the camel rides at sunset and sunrise. They are worth every minute of the long drive to get there!

Stayed in May/13 in the tents, the ones with private bath. There´s a sink, a shower with water temperature control and a separate toilet. Some lamps hanging and electricity until midnight. Floor is uneven and little more space is available. Recommend to carry as little as possible of luggage, leaving the bulk somewhere else. We took our two big suitcases... More

We arrived at La Belle Etoile in a blinding sand storm. We couldn't see a thing. Luckily our driver was a local and knew the way. The storm was too bad for us to stay in the tents in the dunes (about 30 of us in the same boat) so we were given rooms in the hotel. The hotel is... More

We paid a fortune for the premium luxury camp, having booked through Kensington Tours who marked everything up outrageously. Our tent was private enough, down in a cluster of dunes, even though it was tucked one dune over from the semi-private tents and a five minute walk from the main building. Still, it was romantic to have a private dinner... More

Nice peaceful place. Just go for the rooms. They are GREAT !!! Tents (2 types) are very basic, too basic... Even the more luxury one. Food (dinner, breakfast) was basic. Same about the service. It seems all about money... Anyway the views and are are AMAZING !!!
