After driving on our motorbikes through the desert for 3 days, we arrived at Bab Rimal which was like an oasis for us. It was very hot and thus we enjoyed the swimming pool and the air-conditioned rooms to cool down a little bit. The furniture of our room was elegant with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean... More

We loved the place! Wonderful setting, local walks along riverbed, great atmosphere. Everything a tired, hungry and thirsty traveller could want, and a better standard than we had seen for a number of days. Food was traditional by choice and delicious. Naji, owner/manager, was a breath of fresh air and regaled us with stories of the culture. He arranged our... More

Great place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Chill by the pool, explore locally, or take an overnight trip into the desert by 4WD - highly recommended, fantastic desert scenery, expert and friendly driver, dune scrambling, camel spotting, ethnic overnight stay, dawn departure (or to suit). Take cash unless you have paid beforehand - ATM in Foum Zguid... More

We spent a night in the desert arranged from here which started in the early afternoon. When we arrived in the morning for the trip, we were having serious mechanical problems with our hire car. The manager was extremely helpful and spoke with the car hire company who were reluctant to believe that there was anything wrong with the car.... More

We stayed there only one night and it was a pity. Had I known that it would be possible to make a desert trip from there, I'd stayed one more! We got a bungalow, very clean, comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and so was the dinner with bottle of good Moroccan vine! Staff was really friendly and helpful. I definitely will... More

Great concept. Simple but interesting rooms. But.....on arrival the guard at the gate was asleep. No one to get our bags. The reception guy was asleep on the floor. Carried our own bags. The bar frig was locked and a sad looking teen clad in dirty sweatpants had to be awakened with the keys every time we wanted a drink.... More

We stayed here one night in February 2012. Room was lovely - we asked to switch from one to another with better views of the mountain and it was no problem. Later on, watched the African Nations Cup final with some local people, our dinner was brought in to us and we had it in front ofa roaring fire. Breakfast... More

Surrounded by mountains, you will find a large pool. Each house has 4 bungalows. Some have better views then others. Bungalows were clean and modern , for a change. The staff was helpfull and brought to our bungalow on our request a decent bottle of wine accompagnied by nibbles. The dinner was good, as was the breakfast which was served... More

If you visit the area around Foum Zguid, this hotel is the best place to stay. The hotel is 3 km bevore you see Foum Zguid (leave the street by the police-station to east direction). After 1 Kilometer you will find the hotel between the spektakulare hills of the Jebel Bani, close to a little village and the oasiszone near... More

Hotel Bab Rimal provided us with the adventure of a lifetime and an ideal home base for exploring the desert. We had the whole place to ourselves one night; had a memorable time conversing (in mixed English/French/pantomime) with the warm and welcoming staff, comparing our lives in California with their lives in the desert. The second night we were among... More
