The grounds and the rooms are beautiful with colorful decor and really well manicured landscaping (especially at the entrance with blue doors and bright fuschia flowers)! The room is small, but clean and the location is a quick 5-10 minute walk to the medina. The problem with the hotel is the service. No one has been friendly. No welcome or... More

Having travelled through Spain, Portugal and now into Morocco, Dar Echchaouen was an absolute delight after having previously experienced pretty standard hotel accommodation to that point. A large comfortable room (with adjoining sitting room) was a blessing after long days out exploring. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon cold........we slept really well. Brekky, which was included, comprised breads,... More

This lovely hotel is at the highest part of Chefchaouen, and looks down on the town. The rooms were well-maintained and comfortable, with a large shower stall. The pool area has a nice tent area with mattresses. We enjoyed dinner and breakfasts at the hotel.

This small hotel has stunning views of the town, mountains, and surroundings. The multilingual staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. The stay is relaxing and restful. It Is an easy downhill walk to the center of town. The two days spent in this charming environment was extremely delightful.

In absolute awe of this place...we stayed just one night, will definitely stay longer next time! The ryad is situated very closed to the medina, which is quite a bit of a mission to walk up to, but definitely worth it. The staff in general were fantastic. We organised our break through luxury-riads.com which was the cheapest by a long... More

This hotel is outside the town on a hillside, with a beautiful view of the town and mountains. There are country sounds (including dogs and roosters) and the call-to-prayer wafts through the mountains. The hotel itself is artistically decorated and fun to come home to. We enjoyed our stay here...the room was comfortable, the staff were fun and helpful, the... More

There is a lot to recommend this hotel. Pleasant setting, comfortable beds, the television offered BBC news coverage, the refrigerator was appreciated and we liked the cold water in it. Add to this a good shower, the roominess of the suites, the location very handy to the town with everything within walking distance (the staff willingly provided us with a... More

You enter through a beautiful blue door into a verdant garden filled with white and red boganvillia. There is a fountain and terracotta pots amid the garden setting where the staff give you a mint tea welcome. The rooms are charming ,smallish but well appointed. The same with the bathroom. I was on the 3rd floor with amazing views of... More

This was a stunningly romantic hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean although we had a shower that didn't drain and leaked. Stayed in a two bed chalet which had its own living area. Really nicely decorated. Staff are amazingly good and food was the best we had in Morocco. Highly recommend!

Romantic hotel - a great location in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. The grounds were beautiful, the house was interestingly decorated, the room was well appointed and came with a fridge. The pool looked nicely maintained, and we had a very good dinner in the garden of the hotel. What impressed us the most was the home made different types... More
