Lovely interior, in the centre of town. We had a room on the second floor and found the room spacious. The only slight hitch was the shower: hot water and Ok pressure but the showerhead holder was broken. The water also didn't drain fast enough so there was always a slight chance of overflow. The owners don't really speak English... More

In Chefchaouen is no problem finding accommodation at a good level. However, with the Hostal Gernika, we were extremely satisfied. Perfectly comes to be situated, near the square with a magnificent two-tier terrace. Good price. Spanish owners speak only Spanish, but it ultimately did not matter. Possibility to order breakfast. The hotel is beautifully renovated and each room has a... More

Ok this is a lovely place ..beautifully decorated, very clean, inexpensive and well located. However, there are a few downsides. One, you can only book via phone and they only speak Arabic or Spanish ..I tried my Spanish two calls (and got a very impatient staff) before I could be understood! Second, because there is little English spoken you cannot... More

We had a very good stay here, more like a riad than a hostel. The breakfast was quite good, room was nice with a warm shower, and they let us check in early. The owners/managers were really nice and helpful, but they only speak Spanish and Arabic, so if you don't speak it be aware that it may be a... More

Everything you need for a perfect stay. The hotel and room was all we were looking for with a great roof terrace. The host and manager Raul was amazing, giving all sort of tips and info and also took us around on his time off. Will definitely return.

Good breakfast, nice and cosy rooms, lovely roof terrace with brilliant view. A very kind and helpful manager (from Spain, speaking fluently English), just a 5 minute walk from the lovely main square of the town. The only thing is the noise coming from the surrounding streets and houses. Besides that a perfect place for your stay in Chefchaouen!

What a lovely place! Our room was very nice, the terrace was beautiful, and service was excellent. It was a great value, and ended up being one of our favorite places during our two-week trip to Morocco. I would highly recommended Hostal Gernika!

Guernika Hostel is convenient to the center terrace. The room was small but more than adequate, especially considering the price and location. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about traveling around Morocco. We had a wonderful, relaxing time there and wish we could have spent more time at this beautiful place. Only reservation is that the streets are lively... More

Lovely, clean accommodation in a good location in the medina. 200dh a night for a double ensuite room. Stayed in 2 rooms, 4 and 14, both in the same location but different floors.fantastic amount of light comes in with the most incredible views. Got wifi in room 4 but 14 struggled. Roof terrace is really beautiful. Hot water seemed to... More

We spent 6 nights at Guernika and had a very relaxing time. The hostal is located very close to the main square in the heart of the blue tinged medina of this cute town. We were given one of the triple rooms for the price of a double and it was very nice. It faced out over the town which... More
