Can't beat the location - 2 minutes from the central square and the rooms are bright. Guernika is a cute place..just make sure you get the mountain view rooms - the others are a bit dark. Hostal Guernika is a lovely and wellmanaged hostel in the blue city Chefchaouen. The rooms are very clean and they have a sunny terrace with a great view to the mountains. Nice hotel with perfect location. Rooms rather simple and small, some with great view, others unfortunately dark. Clean colorful bathrooms. While our visit in winter it was very cold at nights as rooms have no heaters. The best thing about this hotel is beautiful roof terrace with spectacular view. This hotel is run by Spaniards and as such, is quite popular with Spaniards. I would say we felt a bit outnumbered staying here and a bit alienated as well, but we may have been too sensitive....the owner only really spoke Spanish and it was a challenge to be understood but we made it!
