We had booked to stay in Casa Hassan but when we arrived, we were taken to the sister premises across the road, Dar Baibou. We had breakfast at Dar Baibou then dinner back at Casa Hassan. Our room was lovely, very clean and with a loverly painted wood-paneled ceiling and door. The bed was very wide and comfortable and the... more

Casa Hassan is well-positioned in the Medina of Chefchauon. It is probably one of the easier places to find as the medina is so difficult to navigate! So I would recommend booking in here for at least your first night until you get your bearings. Most people know where it is, so if you need directions you shouldn't have trouble... more

This hotel provides half board for a reasonable price. Our room was nice sized but the antique bed with headboard and footboard was so short and so small that my husband had to sleep on the couch so I could sleep sideways in the bed. The dinners were excellent, especially the fish of the day (calamari) and the pastilla. more

Casa Hassan is a cool little pension steps from the main square in Chefchaouen's tiny medina. Dinner was included and the restaurant was way above-average for Moroccan food. The manager was very helpful, especially after we got into it with a dishonest shopkeeper. He calmed the situation down and we eventually got our money back. GO TO CHEFCHAOUEN, it is... more

Great location in the Medina, breathtaking design & decor and the staff were a joy. The hotel restaurant is by general consensus the best in town (it's ok, but they could vary the menu a bit more). If/when I return to Chefchaouen I would stay here again. Wonderful. more

Hotel Casa Hassan - our favorite lodging in Morocco, and one of three riads we experienced, has it all. An awesomely cheerful and accomodating staff (bounding up two flights shouldering a 50lb suitcase!), ideally located, beautifully decorated rooms, exotic views, great dinner menu (included in our booking), with generous breakfast included. Parking may be difficult right outside this small hotel,... more

I've been travelling to Morocco for five years now and always spend a little visit to the lovely town of Chefchaouen. I'm always staying at the Casa Hassan. It is the place to be in the Rif. You will never regret nor forget your passage. The hotel is located in a small alley of the lovely Medina. If you are... more

One of the best places we stayed during a long trip in Morocco. Excellent dinners and breakfasts. Helpful attentive staff. Rooms not large, but pleasant, other features more than make up for it. Try the Tagine for dinner...truly amazing, a work of art! more

After driving from Tangier down to Chaouene, we spent the night in this perfectly nice hotel. The town is small and one night is a perfect stay (unless you are into Kif, in which case you may feel that you have died and gone to heaven, because its hard to move without being offered the stuff). I suppose that relative... more

Have stayed here three times in the past year. It is a clean and fun place to stay in the old part of the quaint little town of Chefchaouen. The hotel is made from a restored residence and they also have an annex to the hotel just down the street with rooms available in it as well. The rooms are... more
