Casa Hassan was the first Riad to open30 years ago in this gorgeous town at the foot of the Rif Mountains. We stayed in room 26, which was large and had a lovely view of the mountains. There are not many amenities, though it was clean and air conditioned. Breakfast was included and is a small buffet with Moroccan pancakes,... More

A traditional riad in the authentic andalousian-mooresque style rightly located near the heart of the Medina, re-fitted with all modern conveniences. Warm and attentive staff, ready to anticipate and fulfill your every need. I would like particularly to thank all the staff, the lady manager and the restaurant personnel for their care and concern after I experienced a severe heat... More

I did not stay here but ate in the restaurant which was so good! I actually had the pasta which was fabulous. The décor was very warm and the service was excellent. This restaurant came recommended by our guide and it was exactly what we wanted.

The Blue City - Chefchaouen is a most special place with Casa Hassan a lovey location to stay at and has a restaurant that is excellent. Authentic and rustic artifacts, furniture and architectural features makes this a unique experience and we especially enjoyed the hand painted features found on the doors that revealed comfortable rooms. One feels history in this... More

Hotel Casa Hassan is conveniently located right near the Main Square in the old part of Chefchaouen. This comes in very handy if you're about shopping to quickly bring your acquired goods back to room. The hotel is very clean, all rooms are air-conditioned (a blessing since it can get quite hot) and very nicely decorated, including the bathrooms &... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights as part of a tour. It's a beautiful Riad. The rooms are beautifully decorated in Moroccan décor. Very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is sumptuous, homemade with very fresh ingredients. They also own and operate a restaurant steps away from the hotel with wonderfully prepared... More

We stayed 3 nights in Room 18 on the terrace. A delightful stay. Comfortable bed, spacious room, very clean and well maintained. Our windows overlooked rooftops of Chefchaouen and off into the mountains beyond. Very quite, virtually no street noise. We loved it here. The staff are warm and engaging and the location couldn't be better. Highly recommended.

Casa Hassan is a delightful hotel in a most charming town, Chefchaouen (or Chaouen for short) high up in Morocco's Riff Mountains. It is located in two separate buildings across from each other on a hilly street (everything's on a hill here), just up from the lovely main square. If you think I am a tad too free with my... More

Chefchauen (or just Chauen) is known as the Blue City after the traditional blue wash painted on many of the buildings and walkways. In fact the blue alley surfaces offer useful clues as to whether a passageway leads somewhere else or is a dead end. Casa Hassan is a well established restaurant in this old town founded by Moors and... More

The food is always good and the service prompt. You can not bring wine nor do the sell it but it is worth a visit for lunch.Vegetarians are catered for here. It is near the main square and easy to find. The staff are generally very helpful and the kitchens are very clean.
