Stayed here for a night when we had problems with our initial booking at another hostel, big mistake. On walking through the door the welcome is hardly a nice vibe with a bunch of men watching football probably quite stoned. Our twin room had a weak fan which didn't do much else other than fan extremely hot air around the... More

I stayed for nearly a month in Souika, had a very enjoyable time. It was in July, so weather was very hot. Temperature in Hostel was of course warm too, but feelable colder then outside, always "refreshing". Met lots of nice travellers there, stuff was always friendly. One shower was a bit cold, but the other one warm. Bathrooms are... More

I loved this Hostel, simply brilliant, I stayed 1 night on the rooftop terrace for 40dh (bargain) it was a bit cold but bearable as we had lots of blankets, staff seemed friendly enough & the showers where nice & hot, also free Wifi Which is always a nice little bonus

Came to this hostel this december. Very welcoming people and atmosphere was great :) Slept 3 nights outside on the rooftop. Even though it was 8 degrees at night, we weren't cold; we had enough blankets to keep us warm :) Hotel was a bit chilly, but they had a little heater for the evenings which was in the living... When we arrived to pension Sauika, we talked with very communicative receptionist, he recomended us good restaurant and gave us the heater - we had room at the rooftop and these days is very cold during nights. But when we was leaving, the other receptionist was very annoying, didnt speak good english nor french . The pension is clean, offers... More

Probably the least favorite place I stayed in during my three weeks in Morocco. I was there in the beginning of April in one of the dorm rooms. The weather was still chilly and the hostel felt really damp and cold to me. The room was windowless and cramped. The bathrooms were passable, but the hot water was unreliable. But... More

The guy running this place is a jerk. He was offering us a 400 dirham deal for a taxi to Akchour and back when we found a better deal elsewhere and took it. Later, when other travellers came into the hostel, we informed them of the better deal when it came up in conversation that they were going to go... More

Souika is the cheapest hostel in Chefchaouen. It is popular with hippies, stoners and backpackers. It has a mixture of dorms, privates and rooftop tents. The terrace has some romantic views of the medina and the Mountains. Breakfast is available for 20 dh and tajine, couscous also. The hostel can be difficult to find in the Medina. The staff could... We fled from hotel Mouritania because of bed bugs around midnight to this hostel next door, which we hoped would be our saviour. The young man at the desk was understanding and insistent that we take a wash and bag our clothes up so as to not spread bed bugs into his rooms. We were happy to do that, hoping... More
