I loved this place. I came with 2 friends, and we split rooms, it's a very sweet Dar with winding steps, and amazing terrace over Chefchaouen, and lovely staff (Joanne and Sofian). Blankets are handmade in chefchaouen, perfect advice for place to go on a strict timeline. And Chefchaouen is just gorgeous. really lovely. Nothing but beauty. give yourself at... More

Petit taxi from grand taxi drop off point right to Bab souk..straight ahead only a few meters and u will see sign up the first small alley on ur left...VERY easy to find and to explore from. Lovely helpful staff, evidently having just recently taking over the running...nice breakfast included ,highly recommended

First of all, the location was SO easy to find compared to other places we stayed in Morocco. It was near the entrance of the medina, close to the sights, yet probably quieter than places in the center of the medina. The best part of the stay, however, was Soufiani - he assisted us in finding the best ferry for... More

Soufiane is a very patient, kind guy, and so glad he was able to help you get the right ferry, which can be a bit confusing. We are going to put together a travel document to try and simplify things for travellers. With general information too, like, you can't buy a CTM bus ticket on line, there is another way... More

We loved this hotel! The location is great; it's not far from the entrance to the medina in Chefchaouen (easy to find from the CTM bus station). The bed and room were extremely comfortable. As soon as we arrived, they offered us traditional Moroccan tea. This is pretty common in the country, we've found, but we still appreciated it. The... More

This lovely, small riad is located a few steps from the main entrance to Bab Souk, so easily reached by taxi (essential but easily found in this hilly town, unless traveling with only a light back pack). It is beautifully restored with modern facilities, the rooms with spacious baths are clean, and the service is excellent. Breakfast is basic but... More

Thank you thank you for a lovely review .. I guess by the blues you mean music! Glad you liked the bathrooms, though I hope that guests realise it is a shower, not a bath.. it could be confusing ... thanks again. Penny More

It had only been one week since the dar Gabriel had been taken over when we visited and in some respects they were still trying to find their feet. We had a brilliant stay, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The place itself is lovely, we got a choice of room, of which we were happy with, and... More

We arrived to Dar Gabriel yesterday and were met by a lovely Moroccan guy and really friendly Spanish lady. The hotel is so charming, with many different levels and beautifully decorated chill out rooms to hang and drink tea. Our bedroom is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful traditional bathroom. This morning we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with fruits, fresh juice... More

I stayed at Dar Gabriel in June for 2 nights and it was fantastic. The hosts were so warm and welcoming you felt right at home. I found the catering to be of a very high standard and the rooms very comfortable. I would love to stay here again and for much longer next time.

I recently went back to stay at Dar Gabriel with friends and did the walk to Azilane, as well as physically invigorating the views were truly stunning. Once we arrived we were well looked after and catered for, we stayed overnight in "Gite Azilane." I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for fun and adventure.
