It is Thursday, market day in Chefchaouen, the alleys are packed with farmers selling their winter crop, fish mongers from Tangiers and houseware merchants. It also means our guide had to park farther from the Bab El Souk gate than usual. The blue door of Casa Perleta fortunately appeared just as we were beginning to think we couldn't drag our... More

This is one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed in, I wished I could just move in! It's simply gorgeous - all around beautiful decor and sweeping views from the upstairs patio. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the staff was extremely kind and hospitable. I got a wonderfully relaxing hammam treatment while I was there and... More

Fell totally in love with this little place. The rooms were so thoughtfully decorated, with lots of beautiful antiques and local textiles. Simple but really perfect. A great breakfast and a beautiful terrace to watch the sunset from. Begona and her staff took such wonderful care of me, after 3 weeks of traveling alone, it was great to be in... More

If you want an authentic place in the Medina then this is the place the host Begonia and the two staff Ishmael & Mohammed are exceptional. Its not the most roomiest of places but is nice and cosy and tasteful, offers excellent central heating and AC also breakfast is good and is at the time you get up, when you... More

Casa Perleta was a good find in the medina. The directions to the parking area were a little confusing, but I called the hotel from the street outside Bab Souk and Ismail helpfully came to fetch me and show me where to park (in the rain). The hotel is within easy waking distance of good restaurants and the main square.... More

The Riad was lovely, and our hosts were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and there was nice hot water shower. Breakfast was fried Donuts from the man right outside the door and fresh goat cheese- yum! The only thing for me was that the loudspeaker for the mosque was literally next to my head- so LOUD- sleep was impossible... More

This is such a cute town and a charming guest house. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and relaxing. Our room was cozy and located in a pretty part of the town. Would recommend for anyone traveling to Chefchaouen. We also ate at the restaurants recommended by the staff and found them to... More

Casa Perleta and all of it's staff members were very welcoming in our trip to Chefchaouen. The staff members went out of their way to help in anything you need - including making change, buying bus tickets, and recommending activities. Breakfast was very nice with homemade churros from the shop next door and other local goods. The atmosphere was very... More

We staggered in out of the rain at this place and immediately our spirits lifted. Cosy fire burning in the fireplace at reception felt great and the central heating in our room warmed us right up. Very friendly multi-lingual staff helped us with directions to restaurants and we settled in for the night. Spacious and well appointed rooms, terrace with... More

We only spent one night at Casa Perleta which looking back was too short. Chefchaouen is small charming place and even may more by Begona and staff. Begona knows all there is to know about Chefchaouen and give expert advice on walks, sites and shops etc. The town is easy to get around but we aware that the town is... More
