we were a group, we passed a wonderful days in gite azilane, the bed good, the cook so delicious. they organized everything for us, staying, trekking, food. I recommanded it for verybody. abdelkader is a good friend and we passed a wonderful days in azilane

Abdul is very friendly, but the place is filthy! Yes it is quaint, has a tremendous view from the roof top over the marijuana fields, and the showers have hot water. The showers and toilets are the cleanest rooms in the place but one does not linger in these rooms. The beds are somewhat better than sleeping on the ground,... More

After a whole day trip through misty mountains from Chefchaouen, we descended to a deep valley, hoping to find some accommodation and a warm place (in late November, it can get pretty cold) in the remote village of Azilane. This gite is the first night's stop if you are hiking the Rif Mountain circuit but is also worth it as a one-night out and back from Chefchaouen.
