Dar Meziana is located near the middle of the town, up a long staircase. Our room was lovely, with just a few things that seemed a bit "tired". The decor of the hotel is eclectic and interesting, and staff are very helpful and friendly. We especially liked sitting on the terrace for tea in the evening and for breakfast in... More

We spent several nights at Dar Meziana in Chefchaouen, Morocco's marvelous "Blue City." The dar was located at the top of a long blue stair-passageway and might be hard to find if you don't know where you're going, but what you do find at the top of the stairs is definitely worth the effort. The building itself was lovely and... More

Conveniently located a short walk from the Bab el Souk, Dar Meziana is a beautifully decorated hotel. That said, our small room on the second floor overlooking the center courtyard, was a bit on the noisy side: we could hear both conversations at the reception area below as well as other guests entering and leaving their rooms. The room was... More

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. While we were out walking around the town for a couple of hours, someone came into our room and stole money from us. It had to be an employee who worked there (someone with a key), as our room was securely locked and there was only one other guest staying there at the... More

We loved Chechaoun with its fascinating, colourful and very clean medina. And we liked the Dar Meziana with its quirky architecture. Rooms were well-appointed and very clean. Our room, although very well lit, was quite narrow, which proved awkward at times. Staff were very helpful, for example with advice on hiking, where to get a haircut, etc. Very good breakfasts... This place is an adorable place to stay tucked away within one of the cutest towns I've ever seen. Very welcoming and helpful staff, and very easy to find the place, which is not always true when inside a small medina! I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anyone going to Chefchaouen.

Our driver parked and a helper from the Riad met us to guide and help with our bags. Up the street and stairs into a secluded Riad with a reception of cookies and tea. The Riad is wonderful and perfect for exploring this unique town.

We LOVED Dar Meziana! The folks were so nice. The bed was like a fairy-tale (we were in "the highest" - all the rooms are named). The views were amazing. The heating in the room was great, as winter can get quite cold. This was one of my favorite hotels on my most recent trip across across Morocco. The outside... More

This is a wonderful hotel that has nice rooms, a great daily breakfast, wifi, excellent service and a perfect location and terrace - it's also a beautiful hotel, full of Moroccan charm. They have a nice fire, too! I'd definitely stay here again. Thanks to Nifioul for helping us get in late and night and with recs etc!
