Our driver parked and a helper from the Riad met us to guide and help with our bags. Up the street and stairs into a secluded Riad with a reception of cookies and tea. The Riad is wonderful and perfect for exploring this unique town.

We LOVED Dar Meziana! The folks were so nice. The bed was like a fairy-tale (we were in "the highest" - all the rooms are named). The views were amazing. The heating in the room was great, as winter can get quite cold. This was one of my favorite hotels on my most recent trip across across Morocco. The outside... More

This is a wonderful hotel that has nice rooms, a great daily breakfast, wifi, excellent service and a perfect location and terrace - it's also a beautiful hotel, full of Moroccan charm. They have a nice fire, too! I'd definitely stay here again. Thanks to Nifioul for helping us get in late and night and with recs etc!

The riad is easy to find and staff are welcoming. Mint tea always on offer. It is spotless and bedrooms having heating and endless hot water. A fire is lit in the main area. The breakfast was impressive. The riad definitely lives up to the photos. I booked online for the discounted rate.

Casa Hasan was full so we were given this alternative and it was a delightful place. Our group got the topmost room and the room below it that was on the terrace level. The views we got were simply amazing. We were happy and satisfied.

I was a little worried about this booking when my original choice of riad gave away our rooms after we dallied paying our deposit due to number changes in our group. It was however excellent and when I looked at the original place, I was glad we had stayed at Dar Meziana as I preferred it. This place is quirky... More

Loved the breakfasts on the terrace, the staff and the views. The rooms - especially the bathrooms - are a little quirky, but nothing that is a problem. The location cannot be beaten. The only downside is that our included dinner had to be taken a t another hotel about five minutes walk away. Not a big deal, but a... More

The view from the roof top terrace of Dar Meziana is very spectacular and a very pleasant place to enjoy your breakfast. My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and found the room clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was someone at the front desk all night which I found reassuring.... More

It's a bit of a challenging walk up the hill to Dar Meziana but so worth it when you get there. It is an excellent boutique hotel with quaint rooms and outstanding personnel. The breakfasts prepared by the staff complement the delightfulness of the facility. It is well located within Chefchaouen accessible to walks, shops, and sights.

This was a delightful riad however for those with reduced stamina it can be a bit of a challenge. A beautiful blue laneway goes up and up! The rooms are lovely - we were on the 3rd level - more stairs :-) with a room onto the patio where we ate breakfast. We were well looked after in relaxed atmosphere.... More
