I don't normally do this but I felt quite compelled to write about how ridiculously rude the receptionist was, she was surly and snappy and extremely unwelcoming. Everything felt like it was too much effort. While the hotel is very clean, it feels very clinical and cold and that's exactly how this woman was. Do yourself a favor, skip Asilah,... More

The Al Alba was a little bit difficult to find because it's set back from the road. The location was great though; just a block to the coast and a few minutes walk to the town square, where we spent all day shopping and sightseeing. The interior and courtyard are beautiful, just as pictured. We ate at the restaurant both... More

Staff is so kind and welcoming! Rooms are clean and cozy. Breakfast is wonderful and we ate lunch there as well...great food! Beach is a block away but another beach is about 6km and they will set you up with a taxi to take you to and from....do not miss this opportunity! That beach was one of our favorite days... More

There are many things to say about this lovely and cozy hotel, but the bottom line is that it is probably the best place to stay in Assilah. The overall experience is excellent. The food is very nice. Thank you, Al Alba.

Hotel Al Alba looks even better in real life than it does in the photos. Communal areas are impeccably well presented in elegant Moroccan style and the whole place oozes sophistication. Rooms are beautifully laid out with secretive "closet-style" entrances. Hotel is in a quiet location within easy distance of the Medina and only a short walk down to the... More

We were there during our honeymoon and everything about this hotel was great. It is very very clean, with lovely specific decorations, the staff is very friendly and the food at the restaurant is worth trying. Too bad breakfast is the same every day, too sweet for my taste, but apart from that the food is excellent. I strongly recommend... More

Beautifully decorated hotel with lovely, helpful staff. They allowed us to go straight to our room when we arrived at 6am from the night train. Great breakfast. Walking distance to everything. Definitely recommend.

We usually like to stay in the older parts of Moroccan towns, but when researching where to stay in Asilah we decided to stay at Al Alba. And what a lovely surprise. Our room was so white, bright and clean and well thought out. Lovely touches of local crafts and some of the nicest examples of new painted wood doors... More

Very attractively decorated hotel, I had the top suite, which was big, granted, but very strangely laid out so it was not worth all the space. Terrace / balcony built overlooking the side street instead of a slight adjustment to be looking over the sea??? Good position but Asilah is tiny so it doesn't really matter. Hotel is run by... Words can't really describe this hotel. The staff is super friendly. The decoration is gorgeous, with incredible attention to details. The food served is top notch, and the rooms are so clean and well maintained. Oh, did I mention that the staff is great? My congratulations to the team that manages this place. Will return for sure.
