I arrived at the Zelis hotel and was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are nice and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed, a big bathroom, fridge, tv and balcony with a nice sea view! It was definitely one of the better "cheap" hotels I visited during my stay in Morocco. A room with sea view is really recommended, the sunset is... More

This place is what I would call a "default hotel", it has standard rooms without decoration or any special features. Beds and bathroom were ok, here is also a pool which I didn't use because of the lack of time. The beach and medina are not too close by, but still in walking distance. The breakfast comes as a small... More

Lovely hotel with swimming pool, very hearty breakfast and central for everything in Asilah. Cheerfully decorated, the owner ( I think) was a friendly smiley sort and the other staff were very helpful ( finding out train times..etc...). The cleaner was a lovely woman who did a fine job and the staff serving breakfast were very charming too. I liked... More

PROS - price is a good advantage here, is affordable for a couple days without luxury. - Due to the location away from city center, offers some calm sleeping nights. But also just a few meters away from city center. CONS - Swimming pool is used by locals, due the small size of it, can be annoying to share with... More

The rooms are rather basic, but clean. If the hotel is busy you can find out there is no hot water left for your shower. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is located in a quiet area, a ten-minute walk from the medina. It offers family rooms.

The hotel was a 3 minute walk from the medina in a great location. Easy parking. Very simple hotel and rooms but clean. Simple breakfast but nice. Good to spend a night on route and to explore Asilah, which is great.

I was positively surprised by the well situated hotel Zelis with its friendly staff, comfortable and spacious room, colorful halls and great atmosphere. Hotel is really good situated. Less than 10 minutes of walking and you are already at the main square of medina or at the beautiful beach that by the way isn’t crowded. My room was neat and... More

The hotel is well situated 10 minutes walk from the town and 5 minutes from the sea, with sea views from the upper floors. The rooms are adequate and reasonably comfortable. We only had breakfast in the hotel, and this was good enough for a basic hotel. Parking is in the street outside, which was fine as it was off... More

You won't find much information in English about the Moroccan beach town of Asilah. You might be led to believe that it's got only a handful of hotels and places to eat, when the opposite is true: like most beach towns, it's crawling with hotels of all sizes, and the beachfront and other main streets are lined with cafes, some...
