Although we were given a very spacious room with its own private balcony, we found this riad to be a bit unkept and in some areas (and in need of maintenance) and the communal dining room very dark and uninviting - a bit like a cave. The breakfast was not good and in terms of quantity was the worst we'd... More

Our travel company described this riad as a simple desert inn, and If ratings were based on outward appearances alone this three star establishment would score very well. A well-presented building in desert-style materials and architecture, the interior was attractive and included a courtyard with pool. The riad also does very well with its food offerings; our chicken tagine was... More

This riad is located exactly across the street from the main entrance to the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, the prime attraction of the area. Our rooms were fine, quiet, and well appointed. The restaurant was fine for both dinner and breakfast, the latter included in the room price, which was quite reasonable at 500 MAD (around 45 euros) for two.

The staff were very polite and helpful, the hotel location was good, the room comfortable, clean. We did not like that while we waited for the room was cold for the time we went (in December-January).

stayed here for a night, nothing to complain about, but felt like it was overpriced, and we were the only people in the whole place! The breakfast was very good though! The room was odd and the bathroom tiny, beds hard and pillows lumpy. Did not use the spa service.

Big and comfortable rooms even if a bit dark (small windows and too poor lights). We found them clean. The swimming pool is great to start a fresh day: I suggest to enjoy it before and after the visit to the kasbah. The dinner and breakfast were good and personnel very nice.

Ait Ben Haddou is a place to be visited and the Riad Maktoub is a good choice. The Riad is comfortable and close to the kasbah. There is a swimming pool and the rooms are clean and equipped with air conditioning and wifi connection. The staff is very kind and available. We had dinner close to the swimming pool. A... More

Enjoyed our stay in this nice Riad. It is only a short walk through some stores, market stalls and acroos a bridge to Ait Ben Haddou. The rooms were quaint and comfortable and we had a sitting room where you could relax. There is a pool in the centre of the complex and a roof terrace with grat views. Cafes... More

Ok I'll start out with the positives. The location is great, just across the street and a few minutes walk from Ait Ben Haddou. The pool looked amazing and would be great to enjoy in hot weather. The food was delicious and the restaurant staff very accomadating. The rooms where very large. Ok for the negatives, it was unusually cold... More

Nice and beautiful decorated hotel on walking distance from the breathtaking old town of Aid Ben Haddou. Very friendly staff, reasonable restaurant and nice rooms, the double rooms with a seprate bedroom and entrance room to sit and read or talk. View of the kasbah from the roof. Great value for your money.
