......One of those places you are always sad to leave..... After the anarchy of marrakech, where could be better to unwind than kasbah tebi. The location is stunning...but this is a review of the kasbah. We were greeted by hassan and his donkey to take our bags across the river. The kasbah is stunningly beautiful both inside and out, beautifully... More

Ait Ben Haddou is a fortified town or Ksar on the old caravan route between Marrakesh and the Sahara and today lies 9 km off the main road from Marrakesh to Ouarzarzat where you turn south for the desert. Kasbah Tebi is the place to stay. You leave your car in the car park on your right near the entrance... More

What more can I add to the adjectives above? Mohamed and Hassan are incredibly nice and eager to make people feel at home in their beautiful abode. The food is terrific, dining and sleeping by candlelight is wonderfully romantic, and if you're lucky enough to be there when they play music, it is mesmerizing. Be sure to wake up for... More

I was very excited to be visiting Ait Benhaddou after recognising it as a film location from films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones etc.. We saw this place on Tripadvisor, read the reviews and booked it straight away. The town and the guest house did not disapoint. Our only regret was that we did not have time to... More

Stayed here with my partner for one night in November. We had a wonderful time with the very friendly and open host Mohammed, his brother Hassan and their cousin Hassan. The three men told us a lot about traditional and modern Moroccan/Berber life and are very active in protecting the national heritage of Ait Benhaddou. Hassan gave us and two... More

Although this Riad has no electricity yet, it is situated in the heart of the authentic village. All candle lit. It makes a perfect evening . Dinner served was excellent. The rooms are simple but beautiful, the showers perfect. The view is stunning in the morning. Staff very kind and eager to help. I recommend strongly

Mohamed was incredibly helpful and his family was very welcoming. The Kasbah is in the old city. Parking is in the "new" city- VERY close to the Kasbah. They have their own gate. The stairs were lit w all candles. Pretty amazing place.

We stayed in Kasbah Tebi in late June. Mohammed gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the old town....his obliging donkey (whom my son named Hercules) took all our bags from the new to the old town across the dried river bed (you have to park in the new town). The old town is just stunning and you... More

Kasbah Tebi...the real thing!!! One of the two restored kasbahs in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, Ait Benhaddou village. Several films have been shot here...and thats the feeling you get...that you "star" in a movie. The kasbah has no electricity and the feeling of having dinner with only candle light is unique. Our room led to a beautiful... More

Amazing experience staying in this old Kasbah. Beautifully decorated and had the best meal of our whole stay in morocco here cooked by our really friendly hosts. The guys were so chatty and friendly and made us feel like family. No electricity, no worries!! The candle light enhances the experience.
