A different but interesting business hotel concept where the lower part of the building is a hotel and the upper part a normal apartment complex.
The staff is reserved but correct and will support you where possible. When you need assistance or directions to interesting spots in Tiraspol downtown the receptionist will help you quickly and efficient.

The Timoty is 2 star hotel by western standards but its the best in Tiraspol, very friendly receptionist, rooms are pretty basic, It's the best in Tiraspol. Very pricey for what you get but its really a monopoly situ. The hotel hotels are worse.Some rooms have jacuzzi, and larger beds.

I traveled to Transnistria on Jan. 19, 2009 with purpose of visiting distant relatives living in Tiraspol. The city has totally three hotels with Timoty being the newest one (since 2001). This hotel has a non-functioning web site for photo or information and no staff seems to speak English. With my little Russian conversation capability I made 5 nights reservation....
